It’s taken me 3 months to make this. Today marks 3 months of My Boy being gone. I can’t even begin to describe the pain and longing I have felt and still feel over this. As time goes on it feels like everyone that knew him just forgot but he wasn’t just a dog to me. As cliche as it sounds Obi was my best friend. On January 3rd, 2026, this little bundle of fur came into my life unexpectedly, and just as unexpectedly, on July 19th, 2026, he left it. Before him, I was stressed, missing church, and heavily struggling with keeping up, but when Obi got here it felt like I didn’t need to worry. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I had no idea this little dog would play such a huge role in my life. He wasn’t just a family dog either. I saved Obi from euthanasia when no one would take him in. If it wasn’t for me taking him in he would’ve been gone. And it just sucks because I couldn’t save him again. I can barely even write this right now. I love you so much, Obi, and I will miss you every day for the rest of my life. Forever My Boy ❤️🐾 by @keegan_l_s
