This DRIVE was the DESTINATION 🫠🌊

Konkan coast stands as one of the India’s most spectacular yet underexplored destinations, graciously stretching across Arabian Sea.

To be fair not just Konkan coast, India’s massive shoreline deserves a lot more worldwide attention than it should. 🤩
But i guess for these beauties to not get wrecked, they better remain hidden. ❤️‍🩹

Please stop littering and make it a habit to keep places clean. Leave only footprints & dont throw around your plastic wraps & bottles.

Hope in future some of us are not afraid of disclosing the exact names of beautiful places in our country.

Last night in Jaipur, post 1:15 AM, we witnessed something unforgettable — a slow, glowing cluster of shooting stars streaking across the sky. 🌠 It lasted for over a minute… pure magic. I’m still stoked and so grateful to the universe for letting me see this cosmic show ✨💙🌌

What was that!

~ My first Solo Trip ~

These are some postcard pictures of my first ever solo trip to Kasar Devi situated on the edge of a ridge off the Almora-Bageshwar highway on the Kaashay hills of the Kumaon Himalayas and also to Khainchi Dham.

Kasar Devi is one of the Shaktipeeths , this temple has a special magnetic effect since the temple is located right under the Van Allen Belt, the radiation causes this geomagnetic anomaly. This temple shares this special status with Stonehenge and Machu Picchu. It has meditation point that Swami Vivekanand meditated and this place has attracted many Spiritual Gurus and hippie movement heroes.
Maa Durga in the form of Kartiyayani appeared here to kill demons Shumbh and Nishumbh so you can feel the aura and the power here.

The panoramic view from here will charm your heart. Winds will bring you peace.

As we move up the Kasar devi temple , there is Mahadev and Bhairava Temple which is so peaceful and serene that you can reach a meditative state easily there. The aarti was very blissful and as I turned the city of Almora had turned into jewels. The crescent moon looked like Chandrachud Shiva Himself.

I took this journey to visit Khainchi Dham but when I came here I was so mesmerized with all the things around... I was so thrilled to be on roads and felt that mountains have called me. Today saw the news of Uttrakhand Dharali cloud burst , makes my heart heavy. Such is the force of nature and I could feel that when I was there.

I travelled mostly by local buses hearing Kumaon songs and smell of weed plants lingered all along.

⬇️Five fascinating facts of this 1000 years old Sun temple that is considered as an astronomical instrument & a song of science!

1. Temple is built on Tropic Of Cancer and has a ‘Garbhagriha’ where sunlight only enters twice a year. During the solar equinoxes, the first rays of the sun fall perpendicular on the centre of temple. On days of summer solistice, the sun shines on the top of the temple without casting any shadow.

2. It is said that the no kind of plaster or limestone was used to make the joints of the temple. They are all structurally balanced to keep the structure up.

3. There is a panel where the entire human life cycle is carved right from the time a baby is conceived till the time of his/her death. Some erotic carvings can also be seen in parts of the temple.

4. The Surya Kund, a stepwell in front of the temple isn’t just for rituals; it mirrors the cosmos. 108 miniature shrines around it reflect the sacred number, while the geometry is aligned with cosmic rhythms.

5. There are 52 pillars in the Sabha Mandapa depicting the 52 weeks of the year. The otber carvings tell stories from Mahabharat & Ramayana.

Athirappilly waterfalls ✨

Some call it the Niagara of India! Standing there feels like raw & purely magical - the roar, the mist, the lush green around makes you want to just observe the fall from various angles and feel its fast buzzing depth 🫠🩵
