Why VISION? Because without vision people perish, but when they see Jesus, everything changes. Check out this video to hear more of our heart and to learn about how you can partner with us to help see this new church come to life. by @keiaalexis

I’m just a girl…

A girl who’s weird in front of the camera
A girl who’s let her hair grow
A girl who became a woman and needed to figure out who she was
A girl who’s letting people think what they will
A girl whose husband has loved her really well over the last 10 years
A girl who’s just having fun and loving it

Happy Wednesday ❤️ by @keiaalexis

A toast to your Monday

In through your nose, out through your mouth. It’s gonna be okay, friend ❤️ by @keiaalexis

Weekends mean no oatmeal for breakfast 🎉 and if you haven’t tried cowboy butter seasoning on your eggs, you’re missing out 🤏🏾🤏🏾

What’s your favorite thing for breakfast? And does your family do breakfast on Thanksgiving or Christmas? Ours does fried oysters for Christmas brunch 😋

Let me tell you…a hair growth journey can be quite humbling 😅

February 2027 will make 2 years and I’m just getting all my hair on top of my head. But we give God glory for all He’s done, amen? Amen! 😂

When’s the last time you wondered? I feel like we’ve lost the art of wonder.

For some of us, our creativity has ceased because our mature minds only process logic. We have to make money to provide. We have to make the food a specific way because our kids only eat it a certain (🫢 am I the only one with a picky eater?). We have over packed our schedules to the point that wonder isn’t even possible. We’ve lost the art of wonder as we try to fit a mold created to make others feel safe.

Don’t get me wrong, logic is good. There’s safety. There are proven methods for getting things done efficiently and orderly.

But if given the chance, would you wonder?

Since starting my grad program, wonder has become commonplace (because I have to 🤦🏾‍♀️😮‍💨). It has been healing and restorative and an outlet for stress. I may not be the artsy painter or dancer, but given time, I can solve some process problems. And I’ve learned that I love the way my brain wonders.

For just 5 mins, watch a train and wonder this week! ❤️ by @keiaalexis

Church isn’t an event, it’s a community, where we laugh together, cry together, serve together, learn together. Can’t wait for the next family reunion next Sunday! by @keiaalexis

It’s very easy to toast to Fridays when we know the weekend is here and the work is done. But what about Mondays? That’s where we need something to look forward to.

I’m gonna start toasting to Mondays to get the fuel I need to make the most of the week. Whatever industry or profession you’re in, I hope you’ll find what you need to get you to Friday and share it with someone who needs that push to the finish line.

Here’s to Mondays, my friends! by @keiaalexis

Coffee is life even when it’s wrong. Also, who programs these Burn workouts because I have some questions 😳

The church isn’t a building, it’s a people, and this past week we got to go into our county fair and worship, pray, encourage and love on our community. God is good! by @keiaalexis
