Nittany Lions ‘31 I am honoured and beyond excited to announce my commitment to play division 1 lacrosse at The Pennsylvania State University. I would like to thank my entire family, Mom, Dad and my sister Livi who have been by my side for everything. Mom, the way you challenge me to be my best self each and every day is something really special, it is truly a privilege to be your son. Dad, without you whipping me into shape at home or in lacrosse as a little kid, none of this would have been possible, I am forever grateful for your support. Livi, thank you so much for the constant battle and rigorous competition we put each other through as kids. You showed me how to find your own path to excel at the highest level. Thank you to everyone else who has been in my corner from day once, I truly cannot put into words how much you mean to me. To all of my coaches throughout my youth as a Newmarket Redbird, I am so very appreciative that I was able to experience those years with such amazing people. Thank you so much Coach Kenny, Coach Berman, Coach Heider, Coach Auzzy and especially Coach Bladon. Thank you so much Coach TK, Coach Hiltz and Coach Fitzy, I am so happy I was able to play my travel ball with Evolve where #statusquoisunacceptable. To Adam Gardner, you played a pivotal role in my development not just as a lacrosse player, but also as a person. You gave me all the tools possible in order to develop the skills I have today and I can’t thank you enough. To Coach Sheridan, Coach Polak, Coach Bert, Coach Bonny, Coach Madeley, Coach Goad and everyone else at Western Reserve Academy, I thank you for taking a chance on a kid from Newmarket, Ontario. I am grateful for this opportunity to play for an amazing coaching staff with great teammates at WRA that has become my home away from home. Lastly, thank you so much everyone at Penn State, especially the men’s lacrosse coaching staff. Thank you Coach Tambroni, Coach Haus, Coach Bucci, Coach Cardile, as well as Jourdan, the Director of Ops. What a phenomenal school and lacrosse program to get to be a part of! One of the top attackmen in the 2027 class, Penn State commit Kellen Bladon has established himself as one of the most dangerous offensive players in the country. The Western Reserve Academy standout is ranked No. 26 nationally by Inside Lacrosse and brings an impressive combination of Canadian-style stick skills, creativity, and finishing ability. Bladon is a dynamic lefty who can create his own shot, finish in tight spaces, and consistently find teammates when defenses slide. His ability to take over games as both a scorer and playmaker makes him one of the biggest offensive additions to Penn State’s 2027 recruiting class. by @kellenbladon_24
