“Fireworks” is OUT!❤️‍🔥 I can’t lie, releasing this song has been absolutely terrifying. I grew up super conservative christian, and have spent so much of my life feeling deep shame surrounding themes of sexuality and anger. I was taught women are supposed to be pure, soft spoken, and modest. I never fit ANY of those categories. In my adult years I’ve learned to embrace myself fully, but still feared the judgment of family and friends from my past. But writing this song felt GOOD…it felt honest. It felt like me. A pouring out of pain, anger, lust, and a deep desire to be loved. It made me feel empowered. That’s what this song is for me. Finding the beauty in the real, the raw, and the ugly. Here’s to releasing shame, living authentically, and getting babies first EXPLICIT MARK AYEE #badgirlsclub Thanks for reading, and thanks for listening❤️‍🔥 by @kellijosings
