Today I officially graduated from pelvic floor therapy! I cannot thank Dr. Jen Byers and Dr. Amy Meehan at @the.revelle enough for the life changing therapy and helping achieve my BEST life! After my hysterectomy and then cuff repair (ICYMI - my vaginal cuff ruptured 10 weeks post hysterectomy, putting me in the ER and requiring emergency surgery 😅), I was not able to exercise heavily or be intimate for a total of 6 months!

At my first PT appointment in early 2025, I rated exercise and intercourse a 0. During the internal exam, my pelvic floor was extremely sore, tight, and I had no control over the muscles. My abdomen and rib cage were also super tense and “sticky.”

Today, I’m able to rate ALL activities a 10! My pelvic floor along with my whole body are strong, relaxed, and overall I feel AMAZING!

I highly recommend pelvic floor therapy for ALL women, not just postpartum or post surgery, and of course recommend going to the BEST OF THE BEST at @the.revelle !!! 🩷🩷🩷 by @kelljohns
