I love eating chips and salsa, playing board games, and talking- preferably at the same time.

Halloween event 2️⃣ Trunk or Treat, where I got exactly 4 photos 🫠 But I won most fun trunk for the second year in a row, so that’s something! That dang box took me about 5 hours to make because I was making it unnecessarily difficult but in the end, it turned out really cute and the kids had fun with it. They cut a string and their prize (mystery packs of mini ducks) dropped to the bottom for them to collect. Good times had by all! by @kellyensmith

Halloween event 1️⃣ Laynie and her dance crew handed about 1600 pieces of candy to help invite the community to Nutcracker for downtown Clemson’s trick-or-treating. She got to hang out with some of her dance favorites, ran into lots of friends, and had so much fun! 🩰 🧑‍🩰🎃 by @kellyensmith

DWD band brings home their FIFTH straight state championship!!! Number 3 for Evan and number 1 for Dallin. This show was so fun, so full of life, and just a joy to watch and listen to. I can finally share a clip of Evan as the tuba player in the opening quintet and dang is it good! Band is truly the best. The people. The music. The growth. The confidence. I am so thankful for the directors, who I am lucky to also consider friends, who pour into these kids and push them to be their best selves. It is truly a privilege to be associated with the Daniel band. Thanks for a pretty perfect and totally unforgettable day! 🦁 🎶 🩵 5️⃣ 🏆 by @kellyensmith

So much fun seeing Ballet Greenville perform Nightmare at the Museum tonight! We are so thankful for the incredible teachers Laynie gets to learn from not only in class, but by watching them absolutely kill it on stage, too! We love being a part of the dance world, and it’s definitely our Laynie girl’s happy place. 🩰 👻 🖤 by @kellyensmith

One more week of this incredible group performing this amazingly fun show! This season has gone by way too fast and the magic of having two kids in this band really overwhelms me every time they step on the field. Band is THE BEST. 🩵🦁🎶 by @kellyensmith

What a lovely way to start our week, a little farewell breakfast at Sunnyside with these cuties. We have had the sweetest sisters in our ward and they’re both leaving us- one to go home and one is being transferred. They have been so so so good to Laynie and such positive role models. We are thankful for their time in Clemson and will miss them! by @kellyensmith

A rainy but great band day!! 🎶🦁🩵 by @kellyensmith

Amazing day for all three kids! First band competition of the season and guess what? I’M OBSESSED! So fun! So much momentum! And just so well done! Winning their class with high music, visual, and effect- the cherry on top. The Daniel band continues to absolutely blow me away. Laynie got to perform at the Heritage Fair and then hang out at the fair with dance buddies for hours. Being a kid in the arts- pretty much the best way to grow up! 🦁 🎶 🩰 by @kellyensmith

What a gift to have spent four hours at Lafayette today celebrating the life of Mr. Smith with so many amazing people. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the high school experience I had and the people I got to share it with. I only got pictures with a few of the wonderful people I got to be with today, but it’s because we were all just having so much fun reminiscing and catching up. I know people say this all the time, but it was like 20 minutes had passed, not 20 years. These people are just so good and special!

Thank you to the Smith family and LBA for allowing all of us Lafayette bandies the opportunity to reconnect and share memories of such an important person in our lives. This is a day I’ll never forget! 🇫🇷 ❤️ 🤍 💙 by @kellyensmith

LAFAYETTE 🇫🇷 We got to go to the game tonight and see the band and reunite with old friends and it was SUCH A JOY!! If any of our LHS friends are around tomorrow and want to meet up with us and others for dinner or dessert, please let me know! I think we will get to see so many dear people at Mr. Smith’s celebration on Sunday, but it would be lovely to catch up tomorrow, too, if you’re around and looking to hang ♥️ 🤍 💙 by @kellyensmith

Friday night lights! First half time performance of the season and guess what- I’m obsessed. Blown away. There’s DW Daniel band is just constantly awesome!!Between Evan being in a solo group at the beginning and it being Dallin’s first performance, I just couldn’t be more proud!! And Laynie was in heaven sitting with one of her besties and their favorite baby. Great night- sweat and all! by @kellyensmith

Last week, Laynie auditioned for her 5th Nutcracker and today she’s excited to say she gets to reprise her roles as Bunny, Mother Ginger child, and Flower leaf PLUS she gets to be a party scene girl for one night only, which is so cool since it’s a role she never really thought she’d have. This is her 4th year as a Mother Ginger child- the one role she was really hoping to have again. She’s funny! Year 3 as bunny, year 2 as flower leaf- the girl just loves to dance!! Rehearsals start this week- it’s officially Nutcracker time!! 🎄🩰🐰 (Pictured with her post audition celebratory pink drink and pumpkin loaf- sugar high after a big day!) by @kellyensmith
