In just six days, I gained a new family at @redmacae in Macaé, Brazil.

We shared, served, encouraged, sang, laughed, cried, and prayed together. They welcomed us with such warmth, joy, and hospitality that we didn’t want to leave! Obrigada, Red Church!

I especially loved spending time with the precious students, who were so bright, friendly, and encouraging. It was a joy to laugh, learn, and share together.

We were also so encouraged to see how God is moving through this church and community in a mighty way. What a blessing it was to meet these friends, to speak their language, to fellowship in their homes, and to pray together for continued gospel growth in Macaé and beyond.

Until next time. Até a próxima, queridos amigos! #macaé #gratidão #FamíliaDaFé by @kelnorcross

My first #WingsOverHouston air show, and it was fantastic (and so hot!)! We were checking out the Cobra early on and realized we recognized the pilot as one of Laynie’s middle/high school friend’s dad! Super cool to see him flying, too. The NextGen Eagles’ aerobatic routines were awesome. Seeing the Boeing Triple Seven up close was pretty amazing, and the Thunderbirds were unbelievable (and wildly loud!) by @kelnorcross

Love this crafty girl! Got all the materials on Tuesday night, and she put these together all by herself! #seniorhoco 🩷 by @kelnorcross

Picking out new books for the quarter! These pics weren’t staged; they were really reading! (But I did ask for their permission to take a pic.) 😊 Love our library! 📚💚🖤 by @kelnorcross

Proud of this girl for overcoming obstacles and pressing on. Her senior year is full of interesting classes like studio art, ceramics, forensics, and AP Lit. She’s always loved art, and in the last few years, she’s grown to love math and science too! We’re proud of you, Josie, and excited to see what comes next! #seniorsunday by @kelnorcross

Happy 14th Birthday, Colby!! We love your silly, determined, creative, and loyal personality! Your early love for gogurts has grown you to almost 6’2”! We’re proud of your commitment and dedication to the cello, and that earned you first chair cello in the Region Symphony Orchestra! Your love for soccer keeps you working hard every day to be the best goalkeeper you can be. You entertain us on the regular, and you’ll always be everyone’s “little” brother, even if you’re the tallest in the room!! 🥳💙☺️ by @kelnorcross

Another LCI Fall Concert, and it was fantastic as always!! So proud of Colby and the fantastic orchestra program he gets to be a part of! 💙🩶 by @kelnorcross

I didn’t get to travel with them, but I got to live vicariously through pictures (thank you Randi!!) and the soccer live feed! They enjoyed some adventures in Arkansas before winning their game this morning. Love this team! by @kelnorcross
