POSTS STORIES REELS

Aloha! Figured it was about time I introduced myself to some of the new faces around here 🤙🏽

I’m Keloni! Born and raised in Hawaiʻi, husband to my best friend @katkamalani , dad to two amazing kids, former college football player, firefighter, and now apparently a guy who films himself cooking dinner 😂

From early morning surf sessions to backyard BBQs, family adventures, and everything in between, I’ve always believed that some of life’s best moments are the simplest ones

Around here, you’ll find a little bit of everything. Good food, fatherhood, fitness, travel, life lessons, and plenty of moments where I’m just figuring things out as I go

I’m a big believer in getting outside, trying new things, making memories with the people you love, and never taking life too seriously. I’m far from having it all figured out, but I’m doing my best to be a better husband, dad, and human along the way

Whether you’ve been here for years or just stumbled across my page, I’m glad you’re here. Hopefully, I can inspire you to try a new recipe, get outside, learn something new, or just appreciate the little things a bit more

Now I want to know about YOU! Where are you from and what’s your story? 🤙🏽 by @kelonikamalani

6 Hr Hot & Fast Smoked Pulled Pork 🔥🐷

Pulled pork is already good… but doing it hot and fast makes it simple, smoky, and ridiculously tender 🤤🔥

What I used:

Pork
Pork butt / pork shoulder
@frenchs Mustard
Your favorite BBQ seasoning

For the wrap
1 stick butter
About 1 cup apple cider @sprouts
Additional seasoning

Crosshatch the fat cap, use mustard as a binder, and season the pork generously on all sides

Smoke on the @traegergrills at 300°F, spritzing every hour, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F

Transfer the pork to an aluminum pan, add the butter, apple cider, and a little more seasoning, then cover tightly

Put it back on the Traeger at 325°F until the internal temperature reaches somewhere between 200–205°F, or until it’s probe tender

Let it rest for at least 30 minutes, then shred and mix it into all those juices

Enjoy 🤙🏽 by @kelonikamalani

🚨 One wrong move while changing a tire could put you in serious danger!

Here are 5 things EVERYONE should know before changing a flat tire 👇🏾

🛞 1. Chock your wheels. Engage your parking brake and block the wheels to prevent your vehicle from rolling

🔧 2. Loosen BEFORE lifting. Break your lug nuts loose while the tire is still on the ground

🛞 3. Know your jacking points. Placing your jack in the wrong spot can damage your vehicle or cause it to fall

⚠️ 4. Never get underneath a jacked-up car. A jack alone is NOT enough to safely support a vehicle

🔩 5. Tighten in a star pattern. Hand-thread your lug nuts, snug them in a crisscross pattern, then lower the vehicle and torque them to spec by @kelonikamalani

#WalmartPartner As a dad who loves cooking, I can tell you the hardest part isn’t making dinner, it’s figuring out what to make every single night 😂

Sparky, Walmart’s AI shopping assistant, is making that part a whole lot easier

No more guessing

Episode 2 of things I wish my dad taught me

Not every lesson is about fixing something, changing something, or knowing how to use a tool

Some of the most important things we teach our kids are how to own mistakes, repair relationships, and be willing to say “I was wrong”

I’m realizing more and more that being a good dad has a lot less to do with having all the answers

What advice has your dad given you that’s stuck with you as an adult? by @kelonikamalani

Comment ⚡️links⚡️ and I’ll send you all the direct links to what we used (and yes even the fly assault 🤣)
We told the kids we are having a Harry Potter movie night and somehow end up turning the house into Hogwarts. 🪄🐍🏰

Did we need floating candles, butterbeer, Hogwarts blankets and enough Harry Potter stuff to convince the neighbors we’ve officially lost it? No. Did we buy it anyway? Obviously. Because they’re young once 😭 also if you’ve been to the Harry Potter Studios in London, let us know if you like it!! We’re thinking about visiting it next week🙈

Smoked Apple Crisp 🍏🍁

Apple crisp is already good… but smoking it makes it ridiculous 🍎🔥

What I used:

Apple Filling
6–7 apples, peeled & sliced
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 lemon juice
1 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt
1 tbsp cornstarch

Crisp Topping
1 cup @quaker
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
8 tbsp (1 stick) cold butter, cubed

Toss all of the apple filling ingredients together and spread into a buttered cast-iron skillet or 9x13 baking dish

Mix together the oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Work the cold butter into the mixture with your fingers until you have chunky crumbs, then spread generously over the apples

Smoke uncovered on @traegergrills at 350°F for 60 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbling around the edges

Let it rest for 10–15 minutes before serving so everything thickens up a little

Serve it warm with ice cream 🤤🍏

Enjoy 🤙🏾 by @kelonikamalani
