Walk with no chance of knowing where you’ll go by @kelspalm
Fall is our origin season so it holds a special place in my heart! For those interested in a longer, more personal and potentially relatable, caption: For many years before I met Ethan, I was in relationships that I would coarsely define as abusive. Made to feel less than. Made to feel afraid and isolated, among many other things all too many people experience. When your environment becomes such a way over an extended period of time — let alone back to back to back, it becomes challenging to have a clear understanding of what it means to be loved by a partner. Since meeting Ethan, I have never once questioned what I mean to him. I have never felt unsafe, unseen or misunderstood. I have never felt a lack of support in my personal or professional goals. And like a veil being lifted from my eyes, I have finally experienced what it feels like to be truly loved and recognized by my partner. I do not often write such in depth captions about my personal feelings and experiences as I like to be generally reserved when it comes to social media, but I felt compelled to share this because I know someone out there might be in a similar situation that I unfortunately lived in for years on end, simply because I adapted to my environment and didn’t believe it could or would ever get better. If you don’t feel seen, respected, appreciated, loved, supported, safe and so on, please don’t diminish your self worth to make something that does not serve you work. Stop abandoning yourself. Time is precious, and this life is too short to waste time being with someone who only checks a few of your boxes. And that’s all she wrote! My messages are always open if you need someone to talk to, no matter if we are friends, family or strangers. Love, Kelsey by @kelspalm
Accidentally found this STUNNIN’ view this weekend. Drove up in the dark, had no idea what we drove past until the next morning on our way back down. Just WOW. by @kelspalm
