Under contract wasn’t the finish line. This Lauderhill home was inherited by family members who were ready to sell. For the investor buyers, it offered a new opportunity. Getting to closing took several attempts. Earlier contracts brought requests for price reductions after inspections. I helped the sellers evaluate the proposed terms and what they would actually walk away with. When those terms didn’t meet their goals, they chose to walk away. The final agreement came together through negotiation that met the sellers’ net proceeds goal while including a credit for the buyers. I worked with both sides throughout that final transaction, and both left the closing table happy with the outcome. Key Takeaways: ✨Negotiations can continue after inspections. ✨ Sellers can evaluate revised terms and decide whether to accept them. ✨Net proceeds and credits matter alongside the purchase price. Sometimes the work means revisiting the terms, having honest conversations, and knowing when an agreement makes sense. Selling an inherited home or considering an investment property?
