New year, new introduction for all my new friends over here 🫶🏼
Should I post more in this format?

Day 1 of this week’s challenge: “creating a new design everyday based on your preferences”.

Yesterday I’ve asked you to pick a colour for today’s design, and so you did. 🙏🏼
Working with blue was super fun. I wanted to create a design that didn’t automatically make you think of the colour blue.
The first thing that I drew was a flower, so I just went with it. It needed to feel alive, almost in movement, which meant that the petals had to have more detailing. My solution for this was using a toothpick and adding some pearls et voilà!

What do you think of the final result? Yay or nay?

Questions for tomorrow’s design: Choose a theme, mountain or ocean? 🏔 🌊

Two months ago I shared with you my dream to be featured on @voguearabia
Little did I know that two months later @laurapujol__ & @zinebbritel would make this possible through their Moroccan Young Artists project.

Massive thanks to @zyneofficial for the opportunity and to @catminthe for the article 🤍

Congratulations and well deserved to all the talented creators featured in this article 🙌🏼 by @kenzaklay

A weekend in Rabat at the Longines Global Champions Tour, surrounded by beautiful horses, talented Moroccan brands and familiar faces.

Not a bad way to spend the weekend!

Looking back at everything that happened in September, starting with where the madness began: @whosnext.paris 🇫🇷

Built a booth, almost broke a booth, talked jewellery for three days, ate well. Merci Paris! by @kenzaklay

A little KENZA KLAY museum tour 🌺

One of those things I don’t talk about nearly enough: you can now find my work in museum boutiques from Paris to Miami.

Petit Palais, Paris.
Musée Matisse, Nice.
Peabody Essex Museum, Salem
Pérez Art Museum Miami.

There’s something quite surreal about making these pieces by hand in my studio in Casablanca and knowing they’ve found their way into institutions I admire on the other side of the world.

And I’d very much like this list to keep growing.

For museum shops, galleries and concept stores: wholesale enquiries are open.

Hibiscus earrings, somewhere between flower and sea creature.

Which one are you:

I really did try not to work on holiday…

but then the beach looked like this and my friends agreed to become mermaids for the afternoon 🌺

I don’t believe creativity comes from talent alone…

Which one do we have in common? ——>

A 15-minute break with atay and someone you love has solved more creative blocks than staring at my laptop ever has.

Every museum, book, conversation or random rabbit hole becomes part of what I make.

Sometimes creating just for the joy of it is enough.

Some ideas arrive the moment I step away from my workshop.

The more you notice it, the more it finds its way into your work.

Intensional chaos.

Creativity isn’t just made in the studio. It’s built around the table.

Just a reminder…

Creativity doesn’t have to be lonely. by @kenzaklay

What if jewellery could hold summer? ☀️

Not as a colour…

not as a shape,

but as a memory.

Like salt on your skin.

Which one would you wear? by @kenzaklay

Sometimes you’re so focused on one outcome that you almost miss the magic happening around you.

Thank you for last night! 🙏🏼
