Painter. Poet. Mystic.
Flowers are central to my practice, both as muse and metaphor.

When I closed my design company, I stepped into the unknown. In that space, I found myself in the garden learning from the flowers, how to make art again. I could not be more grateful to be here now. 🙏✨🤍 - - Thank you for adding to the inspiration. @hannohwessel @socialbloome @fabriano1264 @danielsmithartistsmaterials by @keri_lassalle
The process isn’t linear. Sometimes it’s pulling old paintings apart, cutting things out, just resetting. Stepping outside into the garden, surrounding oneself with so much beauty that something quietly shifts. Sketching things that aren’t flowers. Settling into a mood and letting it breathe. Staying in the exploratory phase until something inside feels right. Photos by Jessica Karr @_ay.am_ by @keri_lassalle
Although now closed, dreaming of the sweet moments at the Dreaming of Flowers exhibition in Ibiza, at the heavenly La Paloma this Spring! Thank you again to @Lapalomaibiza @lili_simonsson and @serenellacazac Curated by @smithvaitiare Grateful to the collaborators and collectors. ✨🤍 by @keri_lassalle
I paint flowers not just as subjects, but as reminders of the harmony and emotional resonance that grounds us. They are impressionistic and abstract interpretations that honor both form and feeling. Some are faithful renderings, while others are poetic approximations or imaginative explorations. 📷by @_ay.am_ by @keri_lassalle
My intention is to offer a space for pause, where the poetic and the elemental meet, a way of remembering the sacred within the ordinary and offering that beauty back as an act of gratitude. Photo by Jessica Karr @_ay.am_ by @keri_lassalle

Inspiration seems to be everywhere in Ojai. The golden (and pink) light on the glorious fields and mountains. It’s in the trees, standing guardians of this mystical vortex. The sound of the rivers. And in the FLOWERS that are EVERYWHERE! Photos by Jessica Karr @_ay.am_ by @keri_lassalle
So excited to be showing some of my flower paintings at the ROSA Botanical Art Fair @westdeancollege brought to you by @therosamag @botanical.artfair It is happening this weekend in the stunning West Dean near Chichester in the UK. The gardens alone are worth the trip but the botanical art on view (and to purchase) is looking epic. 1-4 May by @keri_lassalle
I work primarily in watercolors, drawn to their elemental qualities and the way water and pigment move with a will of their own. Each painting begins as a listening; to rhythm, to breathe, to the subtle voice of spirit received through silence. In an age of division and complexity, I seek the soft edges of beauty, both in receiving and as offering, not as an escape, but as a quiet refuge. Photo by Jessica Karr @_ay.am_ by @keri_lassalle
Sitting with tea, writing and painting, are my non-negotiable daily devotions. Walking in the countryside and communing with friends are the connective tissue. These are the practices and support systems that hold me, guide me and slow me down to listening speed. The point is to get the nervous system to zero point - so that she can hear the
muse. Photos by Jessica Karr @_ay.am_ by @keri_lassalle
Flowers are central to my practice, both as muse and metaphor, for what they reveal
about balance, grace, and impermanence. To me they are the sacred messengers of love and
beauty, the voice of earth and spirit made visible, and the essential symbols and themes that anchor the work. Each painting is bound to a received transmission, messages that arrive for that specific image alone. After completing a painting, I open my book of original poems and trust, without question, that the words waiting on the page are already in conversation with the painting. This act of surrender, dancing between paint and poetry, has become the heart of this current flower series.
