Besides the algorithm not taking me seriously- I’d like to welcome the 2 new people I gained as part of my little community here in October 🥹🎊💐🎈✨

I hope you like it here and that you stay and enjoy it here.

Housekeeping rules - we only do positivity & kindness here 💛 if that’s not your vibe, you’re welcome to hop off this train anytime 👍🏾✨❤️ & if a little (or a lot) of Jesus here and there annoys you, you can also do your thing because I am very much a big fan of my Saviour so it’s inevitable that I’ll mention Him 🥹

Now that that’s out of the way, what brought you here? Fragrance? Makeup? Fashion? Food? Faith? Lifestyle? I’m keen to know 🥰❤️

Have a lovely day ❤️

Was checking drafts and realized I didn’t post this & as someone who isn’t great at asking for any kind of help, I’d rather delete this video honestly 😬 but I’m just going to put that thought to the side for a bit and just make my request known… what’s the worst that could happen?

Thank you to everyone who has already reposted, shared, saved, commented on the videos I’m referring to, if you haven’t done so as yet please do ❤️ I would appreciate that a ton

Scent of the day 🍋

I find citrus to be non-offensive and it’s great in hot weather so both my picks for scent today were citrusy 🍋🍋‍🟩

Combo:

Orphéon by Diptyque is a musky, powdery, woody citrus 😍 wore her yesterday as well, I love her so much!

Santorini by Niche Parfums is a fresh, zesty, very alive citrus - I’ve reached for it a bit in the last few weeks, and I realized that the other fragrances I’ve paired it with the last few times were woody & warm spicy too - just a note for my people who want to explore combos, citrus scents seem to work well with woody scents 💛

& they paired together so well 😍

Have you voted? 🗳️

What fragrance are you wearing today?

Good morning ☀️

Today’s scripture of the the day reminded me of this prayer (audio)

John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” NIV

Ended off October with a grateful heart & starting the new month where I should - in the word 🙏🏾

Entering a new chapter with great expectation.

In this new month I still choose the Lord, I still choose to abide in Him. In Him I live and move and have my being! All that I need is in the Lord, in Him is life, in Him I find strength, in Him there truly is freedom! In Him ALL things are possible! 🙌🏾 He knows the hairs on my head and cares about the nitty gritty details of my little life. He delights in granting me the desires of my heart 🥹🙌🏾 I love and appreciate the Lord so much, what a Father, what friend, what a counselor! 🥹

I pray that you have a blessed new month beloved ✨❤️

OOTD is a set I got as a birthday gift from my mom a couple of years ago. I got the pants tailored into a skirt 💙💛

#onthisday last year I executed a creative concept Holy Spirit dropped into my heart when I listened to this song.

I was so exhausted and thinking of not creating it anymore 🫠 one of my excuses I was making was that I wasn’t finding thorns for my “crown of thorns” but tell me why I walked to my gate and literally found this dried up tree that looked like thorn gathered there, of course I cried because that couldn’t have been a coincidence and sometimes I be thinking I’m making things up in my mind and the “thorns prompt” being at my gate was proof that I actually am not crazy, we’re tight like that 😅 so that morning, at around midnight after a loooong day of work and a long night, I sat and created these looks, slept for probably less then 2 hours, basically took a nap and had to show up for work…

I still can’t say with certainty why God gave me this idea, I thought maybe it was going to be my winning look for the Maybelline competition and how dope it would be that it was with a concept that was a bold declaration that I’m not ashamed of the gospel of Christ Jesus 🥹 but maybe it was just for that one person who may have really needed the reminder that the pain that Jesus endured was not in vain, that they’re so very loved! A love that gave up itself for them, a love that has never left them because it gifted them with Holy Spirit who is with us always! Who empowers us and makes us better, makes us the best versions of ourselves and tonight- maybe I’m sharing it again because that one person needs to see it too.

I love & God loves you so so much! ❤️

#onthisday in 2021 I turned myself into the masked man from @netflix ‘s most watched & highest ranking series of all time - Squid Games & this still remains one of my favourite creative looks I’ve ever created

All using eyeshadows, lipsticks, liquid liners, cream eyeshadows from @revlonsa

Creative looks are such a labour of love! You can’t sit for hours “painting” your face if you don’t love it 🥰

This one is for my fragrance lovers!

@dischem.beauty & @dischem_pharmacies are having a one day only discount on fragrances, a great way to end my birthday month! Perfect if you’re already buying Christmas presents and gifts for upcoming special days! ❤️

I’ve seen these new @lenthericforher fragrances and I finally got my nose on them! Just took me back to high school days when Lenthéric had me in a chokehold 😅 and here I am in my full blown adult years with what could possibly be a new obsession that is kind to the bank account 🥹

So sorry this is only coming at the end of the day. I actually saw these on a errand run and figured I’d quickly put this together- you can still shop these online in case you don’t make in stores in time ❤️

Brunch Spot 📍The Test Bakery

I’m so glad I found this cutie! 😍 It’s really more of eatery than just a bakery

How do you know that you’ve fallen in love with a place? You’ve been there 3 times in the same week that you discovered it! 😍

I’m excited to try out more of their menu!

A heads up that I only managed to get some footage of the inside on my 3rd visit because it was almost closing time but it was packed the other two times I went but there’s a cute spot near the entrance that you can also sit to grab a quick bite if the inside is packed.

Did you know this spot? And how come you didn’t plug the brunch girlies?! 🥹

Happy Fashion Fridays 🌸

Dressing up is one of my favourite things to do! I love sets AKA “two piece” for its versatility.

I always think of how to stretch my wardrobe without always having to stretch the rands and styling sets is really one of the best ways to reimagine the very items in my wardrobe.

I can easily go from brunch date, to a meeting, to dinner or an event in a few simple switches.

Which one is your favourite?

Hero set Foschini SA

First look accessories- shoes also from Foschini, shades GALXBOY, bag MK, earrings Lovisa

Second look- top also Foschini, blazer Clairz, bag JoBorkett

Last look - Pants Clairz, shoes rage, shades Woolies
