I did a crazy thing a few years ago and decided to learn a completely new sport as an adult, and it’s been low key one of the most fun experiences of my life. In a town where almost no one plays hockey, I bought skates for winter ice and blades for the summer time and last summer got a few local friends involved with weekly meet ups. You don’t need much to make the most of beautiful summer night, a hockey stick, a ball, a shitty sports court, and a few dogs (and a few “dawgs”, of course) can make for some epic-ly simple fun.

Here’s to the kick off of another awesome summer full of the little things that make small town living fun. And if you find yourself around Roslyn WA on a Thursday night with nothing to do, come stop by and grab an extra stick!

This was such a fun top secret mission — we do have to say that this entire plan was fully Brayden’s! He messaged Kev a week before he was planning on visiting laying out his plan!! He wanted to figure out a way to surprise Kenz and this definitely made that happen 👏🏼💍👀 We love a creative & romantic man 🫶🏼🥹 LOVE YOU BOTH and can’t wait to celebrate at a weddinggg!!! by @kevininnis

This past fall, Karli and I had the opportunity of a lifetime to spend almost an entire month on the wildest river in North America with some of the best people I know. From sleeping under the stars, to exploring side canyons with stunning views, to navigating through the biggest rapids I’ve ever seen - this trip is truly difficult to put into words. So instead, here’s as many photos from the trip as Instagram will allow me to put into a post (pulling 20 photos from over 1,200 is not an easy feat…). Mother Nature, you are incredible. by @kevininnis

Fall is here (kinda 😉) and I am A-OK with it! Weather is starting to cool, mushrooms are starting to pop, and pretty soon it’ll be time to chase elk around the mountains with a bow and arrow. There’s no place like the mountains when the seasons start to change 👌🏽 (anyone else looking for chanterelles right now, location is tagged 😏) by @kevininnis

Snow is falling in the Washington Cascades and the only thing on our minds is endless powder slashes and face shots. Winter is finally here, let’s pray that La Niña hangs around for the long haul🤘🏽 by @kevininnis

13 Weeks.
It’s hard to believe it’s finally over. A lot of life can happens over the course of 13 weeks but I think the overarching lesson here is that consistency will win out on intensity every single time. 3 weeks spent elk hunting in the woods, a work retreat full of good friends, good food, and good drinks, and a week of an all inclusive in Mexico.

None of that has any power over my goals when I have a plan, the accountability, and the will power to improve. If you want to make a change, stop waiting and thinking about it - dive in!

Every step you take forward is one step closer to a better you.
And trust me when I say, a better you is always worth it.

If you need a plan to follow, hit me up, my group of savages and I would love to help you raise your bar. Or you can keep thinking about it until you’re old and bitter… I know my choice. 😏 by @kevininnis
