Indigenous people denounce espionage, bribery offers, and the presence of agents while the government and agribusiness officials try to unblock a megaproject in the Amazon. Earlier this year when we found out that Indigenous people in Pará were spied during the SEDUC occupation, I had a feeling the same thing would happen at COP30

Keira has fought so hard for her children, she has gone through unimaginable pain from losing her babies to Denmark/FKU. She doesn't need the added pain and stress from her teeth! More people need to know the truth, and I couldn't think of a better person than Keira to write about Denmark's treatment of Inuit families.

Please stand with us in our fight to protect Pe' Sla, a sacred site within the sacred Black Hills. My soul is hurting so bad. 💔 This is the third threat to the Black Hills in only two months.
My great grandfather fought to protect the Black Hills and I will continue his legacy, even if it means putting my body on the line.

Denmark used to forcibly sterilize Inuit women, now they steal their babies if they feel they won't be Danish enough. They finally banned FKU testing on Inuit, but it hasn't brought almost any families back together, some only partially, some not at all. Some never got to get their children again after the state took them. Some only get an hour or so a week. These kids are growing up without their culture, language and people being a part of their every day life. This is cultural genocide. It is cruel beyond words.

Baby Zammi turned 1 at the beginning of this month, she knows she's not where she's supposed to be. She feels it. She gets upset after she has to leave her mama after their hour of visitation. It's affecting Keira, Zammi and her siblings.

I couldn't even tell you how long the sun's rays take to reach the Earth. I have forgotten that, I learned it in school but I couldn't tell you the exact numbers. The questions, personality quizzes, INK BLOT TEST, etc..they can't tell you if someone will be a good parent. There's a reason everyone fought so hard against FKU, they don't consider Greenlandic culture and language. But even then, the test is ridiculous. Mothers have gotten points against them for seeing something different in the ink blot test than what the psychologists administering the test want them to answer. They punished Keira for not making enough eye contact with A DOLL!! I have seen many videos of Keira and Zammi, and she is always looking at her daughter. Zammi looks back at her with so much love in her eyes. She can't get enough of her mama, she literally pushes her head up against her all the time. There is no reason Zammi and other lil Inuk shouldn't be home with their families. by @keyah.hanwi

Happy Victory Day! June 25, 1876. 150 years ago today, a force of Lakota, Northern Cheyenne, and Arapaho defeated Custer and his men, 7th Cavalry at the Battle of Greasy Grass by @keyah.hanwi

Even my Anishinaabe pals are celebrating 🤣 Can't believe it's the 150th anniversary! Happy Victory Day. I fucking love being Lakota today more than any other day. This is way better than Indigenous Peoples Day! 🗣 Custer and his men got what they deserved on this day in 1876.

Woke up to a video of Keira getting the call that she won. This is the first time I've cried for something good in a long time. This is a huge step in the right direction. Zammi is so close to coming home I can feel it. We are almost there. 😭❤️‍🩹 by @keyah.hanwi
