Yesterday was one of the hardest days for me to digest and accept in my entire life. As the disbelief and heartbreak continues to be with me, I feel & sense your strength and positivity.

From as early as I can remember you preached to me, “Be a leader, not a follower.” Therefore I’ve walked my own lane, living life the way I desire. Reminding me when life gets hard that becoming stagnant or stopping is never an option.

You are one of the greatest examples of a family oriented individual that has ever walked this earth. Willing to help anyone you encountered and would sacrifice it all for the greater good of love. Faith and self belief that never wavered but desired to continuously expand & evolve.

Eternally a super hero & a King in my eyes, heart and soul. I hope I continue to make you proud and will honor you in everything I do. I love you Pops and know I’ll forever have an angel by my side.

COACH KHALIL MURPHY 🏀

We’re excited to have Redwood High School Boys Varsity Head Coach Khalil Murphy joining us at the Branded NIL Camp.

Coach Khalil brings experience at every level of the game. A former NCAA Division I player at the University of San Francisco and LIU Brooklyn, he went on to play professionally overseas in El Salvador, Venezuela, and Morocco. He was also a McDonald’s All-American Nominee coming out of high school.

Off the court, Coach Khalil is the Founder of Higher Intentions, where he focuses on basketball development and helping athletes maximize their potential both as players and people.

Before taking over at Redwood, he served as the Boys Varsity Head Coach at Marin Academy, leading the program to its best record in more than 15 years and the highest NCS playoff seeding in school history.

Player. Coach. Trainer. Program builder.

We’re fired up to have Coach Khalil bringing that experience to our athletes this weekend.
