Yesterday I learned that one of my dearest friends for the last 30 years passed away. Sean Patrick Scott and I met when I was 15 on a Carnival cruise. On the day we were boarding my family left me with all of our bags while they went to park the car and get our tickets. I was trying to move all of the bags off the curb to a safer spot when Sean and his friend Zack came to my rescue. That act of kindest sparked one of the best friendships I’ve ever had. Through the years he was always someone I could turn to. Always the best listener. Always someone who could make me laugh. Our phone conversations could last for hours and as we got older they may have been fewer and farther between, but we could always jump right back in where we left off. I’ll always remember when he met his beautiful wife Vanessa Scott. He was absolutely blown away by this incredible Brazilian goddess. And the joy he had when he found out he would be a father was unmatched. Sean loved his sweet little Kylie so so much. And he was so proud of his girls. He was an amazing husband, father and friend. I’ll miss him dearly. RIP dear friend. by @bhastings82

Celebrating 15 years of marriage with this guy today. We have been through thick and thin together, and we are definitely in the thick of it now with two kids, two careers and never a moment to slow down to smell the roses together. Case in point, we had to cancel our anniversary plans tonight because Maddie came down with strep. But it’s all good. I don’t need a special day on the calendar to remind me of how much I love this man. I’m reminded everyday. Love you babe! I’ll love you til the end of time. by @bhastings82
