There’s something special about gathering around food + nature 🌿

This past weekend, our Odd Produce foraging events in Albany Park + Mt. Prospect brought together neighbors, new friends + curious minds to explore what’s growing right in our own communities.

Each event starts with a guided foraging walk, followed by a seasonal multi-course dinner featuring the ingredients we gather together.

Every month is a new season, new flavors + a new way to connect.

Join us for our next foraging dinner on July 18 🌱
Spots are limited — reserve through the link in bio.

Have you ever tried to @eattheneighborhood ? Well I have now eaten some forages from Albany Park with the help of Dave Odd. Quite a new look to urban dining as I try a nightshade berry, honeysuckle, and more as the Brown Line rolls by. Thanks to Dave and @kheprikitchen not only have I now seen several items I can forage (many are even in my backyard) but I enjoyed a meal featuring them too. There were autumn berries in the bbq sauce, nightshade berries in the salad, elderberry cream with dessert and chicken of the woods mushrooms in the noodles. Dave is truly a “fungi” to learn from, I mean, he was a stand up comedian once upon a time. “Morel” of my story? You can always “ramp” up your knowledge, check out when Khepri will host thier next foraging tour and dinner and “leaf” the house because it’s “mint” to be.
