a kid asks: and what could be better? by @kidcooliepresents

Grad school’s made an espresso junkie outta me. How à propos then that I pulled the car of my empty body into this former gas station to discover @sipbeveragesbiloxi. The one in Kosciusko, MS. The fuel analogy is obvious, but imagine all the things gas stations could be if we lived in a world that was a fossil fuel free?

And don’t say “Tesla charging stations,” you hopeless pessimist.

A kid has to admit: coming up with a suitable string of adjectives to characterize the exceedingly talented and compelling artistry of @bfree2music and @roscoe_duffy is no easy lift. A no-brainer would be “heavy”. Come out to @vargallery this Thursday where we will experience more intimate versions of those adjectives and more… by @kidcooliepresents

with less than twenty minutes before a five-page paper deadline, Camaron de las f****** Islas has the huevos to yodel his Andalusian ass across my airpods. Overreacting to music is one of my go-to procrastination tips. Do You have something you’re procrastinating on? Yeah? Then let me invite you to a music show at art gallery next Thursday 17 November at Var | link en mi bio |

This kid is so very grateful to @dalitdiva and @natlanticbooks for these advanced copies of her forthcoming book “The Trauma of Caste: A Dalit Feminist Meditation on Survivorship, Healing, and Abolition”

I’m excited to read this and review it for @porchlightbooks so stay tuned if u need even more of a reason to pick it up when it comes out Tues, Nov 15.

I’m curious to know what you’re reading?? First two commenters will receive a free copy of Trauma of Caste…

Chattin’ it up with the AAA robot lady at 1:22 after Jascha Heifetz plays your car battery into a fatal slumber while you were bragging on the gram about listening to Jascha Heifetz at 1:11 in the morning. by @kidcooliepresents

Curiously delighted to have found myself listening to this Golden Record-worthy recording of Heifetz on his terrifying violin, at 1:11 in the morninf, 111 years since they put it to wax.

My son who plays violin tells me there is no one better than Jascha Heifetz. So, with that in mind, we’re collecting top-secret polling data on the following:

1. What do You wish to be the Heifetz of?

1. How will You be holding up at 111 years old?

1. What recording would You select for the time capsule holding humanity’s best shit?

I’ll perform the best answer to that last ‘1.’ (within reason) at the November edition of “Unplugged & Accompanied” with BFree & Quinten. See show link en mi bio… by @kidcooliepresents
