Nice interview with @empiremagazine on Tilly Norwood and the threat of AI to the acting industry. Tilly made headlines recently when she was introduced to the world as an AI actor, described by creator Eline Van der Velden as "the next Scarlett Johansson". I spoke with Beth Webb about the rapid advancement of AI and what it really means for the future of our industry. If you want to read the full article you can find it in the December issue of Empire Magazine.

I've seen outstanding auditions rejected for reasons the actor will never know.

Having spent years on audition panels and watching self-tapes, I've seen firsthand how a casting decision can have very little to do with the quality of the acting.

But when you walk away from an audition and never hear back, it's only natural to think, "What did I do wrong?"

When, in reality, the answer is often: you did nothing wrong. It wasn't down to anything you could control.

If you were fully prepared, did the work and gave it your all, you've done your job.

And even when you don't book the role, a great audition can leave a lasting impression.
