So.. For those of you who don’t know, which is pretty much everyone 🤣 I took a break because I was struggling to manage my “mental illness” to the point I had to be hospitalised during an episode. I was in hospital cos I was a risk to myself, I was getting really sick and I literally could not cope. I felt trapped and I took on a lot of unhealthy coping mechanisms. During my 3-4 weeks in hospital (yes the psych ward) It was a real turning point for me and let me see who’s real and who isn’t. Since accepting that I needed help I’ve learnt a lot about myself and how my crazy ass mind works 😝 I’m not gonna share everything with you but I’m sharing this because I wanna shed light on the fact that it IS OKAY TO ASK FOR HELP. I can’t express that enough, it doesn’t make you weak it makes you so much stronger because accepting that you need help is the hardest step. But it’s worth it. I’m hoping by posting this I can inspire people who are struggling with mental illness to open up.

You never know what someone behind the screen is going through. A lot of people use this community as an escape, So please be nice to everyone around you and check on your friends, make sure they’re okay. I wanna specially thank these three people @beccalicious.avk @nix.shark @ava_noahhhhhhhhhh for noticing that I wasn’t okay and reaching out to me in other ways after I deactivated to make sure I was safe. No matter how many days it took me to reply they didn’t give up. I wouldn’t have gotten through this without them and I can’t thank them enough. Because of these people I learnt how to FINALLY open tf up and stop holding everything in. It’s okay to let people in. After so many years of struggling inside my own head I finally feel free, I’m sharing this so anyone else who’s going through similar can see that there is light at the end of the storm and you WILL get through it and break free from your chains 💜
