POSTS STORIES REELS

11 years later, and I finally found my way back to garba. 🧡

Life has been a little overwhelming lately, but somewhere between the music, the colours and the dancing, I found a little piece of joy I didn’t know I needed.

Some moments deserve a place here, even if the post comes a little late. ✨ by @kindfootprints

My little Batetu and Batuk. 🤍

Two tiny souls who found their way into my life, bringing so much love in such a short time.

I had hoped to see you grow up together, little ones. I wish I could have kept you here a little longer.

Maybe our souls crossed paths for a reason I’ll never fully understand. I hope you felt safe, warm and loved while you were with us.

You may have been here for only a little while, but you will stay in my heart forever.

You are now resting next to each other, just as I had hoped you would always be together.

Fly free, my little ones. 🤍 by @kindfootprints

Not all heroes wear capes. Some carry dogs, chase them down streets, clean floors, put on reflective collars and occasionally forget what they’re doing. 😂

Meet the people behind the chaos. ❤️

So so proud of our team to pull off this incredibly difficult rescue. Big thanks to @kindfootprints @nagraj__mogaveer @_poojari_333

This was one of our most hectic and crazy rescues. We received a distress call of a dog crying in pain at a far of location near marvanthe beach. The dog is suffering from severe nasal tvt cancer. Our amazing team reached the location and after talking to few locals realised the dog has been suffering from last 3 months. We only got to know of it now. This dog was feisty and very difficult to catch. But our team never gave up. After a 2 hour chase across the village , beach and random empty plots we could successfully catch the dog. Big thanks to our young and determined team! Thanks to @babitapreciouspaws for the support And @animalcaretrust for taking this case in. The dog will now be safe and recover with the best medical care. by @kindfootprints

Some little souls just need someone to say, “I’ve got you.” 💛

Kuki has already been through so much, and we want to make sure she gets all the care she needs from here.

She is currently undergoing treatment for ascites, and we are looking for a virtual adopter or someone who can sponsor her treatment.

If you would like to be a part of Kuki’s healing journey, the details are at the end of the reel. You can also DM us to help. 🥹

Every bit of support means more than you know and helps Frodo Foundation continue rescuing injured and abandoned dogs and giving them the care they deserve.

Help us keep showing up for street dogs who need a second chance. 🐾

Day 1 at Praana ✨

No trending audio, no voiceover. Just the sounds of the day as it happened.

Slow mornings at Praana, breakfast with Ginny and Brownie, beautiful drives through Byndoor, and then out for a field day with Frodo Foundation.

Puppies everywhere, meeting Putty again, spreading the word about the upcoming spay neuter camp, identifying dogs who still need to be sterilized, feeding a mumma, random dog encounters, good food… and an unexpected rescue that changed the course of the day.

Some days don’t need to be made into a story. They already are one. 🤍

Just a little glimpse of life at Praana and the work that happens beyond it. by @kindfootprints

Our longtime friend, @kindfootprints has been spending the past several months in India, and there was one thing she really wanted to do: help six community dogs in her neighborhood get spayed and neutered.

So, together, we made it happen. 🐾

Six dogs may not sound like a huge number, but six dogs absolutely make a difference.

These dogs live very close to a neighborhood café, where they regularly interact with people. Spaying and neutering not only prevents countless future litters, but can also reduce roaming, mating-related competition, and some hormone-driven behaviors—helping community dogs live more peacefully alongside one another and the people around them.

This is coexistence.

Six dogs. One cafe . A lasting impact❤️

Happy 17th birthday, my Bruny ❤️

I spent the last 11 years being away from home, and one of my biggest regrets will always be not moving back sooner while you were still here.

But even from thousands of miles away, you were still such a big part of my life. All those video calls where you would hear my voice and look for me… and all the times I wished I could just reach through the screen and hug you.

Coming home without you has been one of the hardest parts. For so many years, home meant opening that door and seeing you there, wagging your tail. Even now, there are moments when I almost expect to see you.

And somehow, sometimes, I still feel you around.

You’ve left such a huge void in this house, but your love is everywhere too.

We still use your bowls to feed Cookie, Biskit and Leo. Mum still somehow makes the same amount of rotis. And every time I find myself feeding a dog, helping an animal, fostering one, or worrying about one that isn’t even mine… I know a part of that started with you.

Maybe all this love had to go somewhere.

You were never just my dog. We grew up together. You were home.

I wish I could have seen what you looked like at 17. I wish I had one more birthday with you.

Happy birthday, my girl. ❤️

I miss you more than I know how to say.
And I still carry you everywhere. by @kindfootprints

My third fostering experience was very different from the first two. While those ended happily, this one broke my heart. I lost both of the neonate puppies.

Didi’s brother was weaker from the beginning. I kept hoping for a miracle, hoping he would somehow get stronger. But that miracle never came. He left without ever opening his eyes.

Then there was Didi.

Didi fought for 23 days. She was the tiniest, most fragile little thing, but incredibly feisty. She was the last one to give up amongst her siblings. From the start, I knew she wanted to live. I saw it in the way she fought every day.

I kept hoping for a miracle for her too. I was already thinking about her future, imagining the life she would have. But her body gave up before she was ready.

She passed away on my chest, resting peacefully.

I wish I could tell her how loved she was. I’m grateful I had the chance to be part of her little life and journey, and that I could comfort her in her last moments. Maybe I couldn’t save her, but she was warm, safe and loved until the very end.

When her brother passed, I had to keep going for Didi. And now that Didi is gone, I have to keep going for the ones who still need me.

This experience has been heartbreaking, but it doesn’t mean I’ll never foster again. Death can change a lot of things, but I know I have to keep going.

I have an immense respect for rescuers who go through this heartbreak again and again, lose the ones they desperately tried to save, grieve, and still choose to show up for the next one.

I’m grateful I got to be part of both their little lives, even if their time was far too short.

I just hope that, for the short time they were here, they knew they were loved. 🧡💛 by @kindfootprints

🐾 Five little lives are waiting for a family to choose them. ❤️

These puppies were born near a café, where the streets have become their first home. While they’re playful, curious, and full of love, the reality is that life on the streets is dangerous for puppies.

Heartbreakingly, there were six siblings, but one of them didn’t survive. 💔 His life ended far too soon, a reminder of how vulnerable street-born puppies are.

Now, five beautiful puppies are looking for the chance their sibling never got—a safe home, a loving family, and a future where they don’t have to worry about traffic, hunger, or life on the streets.

Each of them has a unique personality, but they all share one wish: to be loved. Teddy is the only male pup in the litter, while his four sisters are all girls! They’re all about 1.5 months old.

✨ Adoption Details
🐶 Open for Pan India adoption
💉 They will be vaccinated and dewormed before adoption
🏡 Adoption will be done after a basic screening to ensure they go to responsible, loving homes.

If you’d like to adopt, DM me or call 8780894324.
