🗣️Are you a Black activist looking to connect with other Black activists? Join us for our Autumn Town Hall, taking place online on Thursday 5 November 7-9PM GMT. 🤝KIN’s Town Hall is an online peer support space for Black activists and organisers to cross-pollinate, learn, and build kinship. ✍️Taking place seasonally, the discussion topics are decided by participants based on what’s relevant to their activism at that time. 💪We hope this space supports Black activists, organisers and people who are doing radical work in their communities to grow their power by strengthening our movement for Black Liberation. 💌 DM or comment below and we’ll send the joining link 💌 If you’d like to learn more about our Town Hall series, check out our podcast episodes where co-facilitators discuss topics from the events, such as joy, rest, and psychological safety. The joy! The healing! The community!   In March 2026, we came together to celebrate two years of Medicine.  Two years of experimenting, gathering, organising and learning around Black economic interdependence.  Over those two years, we organised an event series, a community of practice retreat and started the process of building the first Black British Economic history archive. So there was much to celebrate!  Filmed and edited by @natalya.rens.studio Sound recorded by @kayodeine by @kinfolknetwork

🌱 KIN is taking a break this August – we’re trying to practice what we preach and take some time to pause, rest and recover. How are you all practicing rest this summer? To stay connected with KIN, sign up for our Annual Convening and check out our recent podcast episode 💜 Podcast: Liberation Starts Within: Building, Dreaming, and Strengthening A and Jade discuss stepping into our collective and individual power as Black people, grounded within a Black feminist praxis. The conversation moves between the conditions for authenticity, the holding and releasing of emotions, and seasons of quiet as part of our journey towards Black liberation.✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽 🔗 See link in bio Sound edited and designed by @chizunnamdi Podcast Artwork by @kitschnoir 📣 Sign up for our Annual Convening in October Our 2-day gathering will bring 50 Black activists and organisers together for: 💬 Deep conversations 🤝 Resource sharing ✊ Rehearsing/practicing liberation in real time ❤️ Free event & we have limited travel bursaries available ‼️Reserve your place by Sunday 30 August 11.59pm Image from our Experiments in Cosmic Dreaming event in February this year @izuseeindis by @kinfolknetwork
In 2024, we gathered on a farm for a residential retreat curated by Tobi and Martha, themed around dreaming as praxis, praxis meaning: Informed Practice: A cyclical and responsive practice of moving between action, imagination and reflection. Putting theory into action and, in turn, learning from taking action. ➡️Swipe to learn more 💭This convening was informed by Black Feminist writing, research and embodied knowledges.
