Allow us to re-introduce ourselves…🫣 Hey, I’m Paulette — founder of TRENDSETTERS📈💙 TRENDSETTERS was created to reclaim dance for the Kingdom of Yah by developing dancers through excellence, discipleship, excellence, and truth. We are giving dance its purpose back which is to heal, bring communion, and as a medium of praise onto the Creator I know what’s it’s like to love dance but not have access to spaces where you can dance with others without compromising your faith…Or to notice a stark lack in faith-based dance spaces in styles other the traditional “praise dance” So finally, after I fully surrendered my gift of dance to God, He assigned TRENDSETTERS to me. Not so I can be glorified, but so His Kingdom can reign on Earth 🙌🏽 From youth programs and adult classes to private coaching, performance opportunities, and creative direction, our goal is to help dancers grow both on and off the dance floor! Whether you’ve been here from the beginning or you’re just finding us, whether you dance just for fun or want it to be more of a career, you’re SO welcome here 💙 Ready to train, grow, and move with purpose? ✨ Follow @kingdomtrendsetters on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube ✨ Join our IG channel in @xpaaulettex bio ✨ Share this post with a dancer ✨ Visit kingdomtrendsetters.com We are in this world but NOT of it. Don’t conform. Set trends. We are TRENDSETTERS📈💙 And this is NOT your traditional praise dance #dancecompany #dmvdancers #dancecommunity #yah #faithanddance A servant. A vessel. After heavy conviction, I let go of my plans for dance and let Abba take control. I have been in music videos, performed on stages, been in locker rooms, won competitions, led a sports dance team— all for the world. And I’ve seen how vain and perverse dancing for the world is Starting TRENDSETTERS (or teaching dance, period) was never my plan! I didn’t really want to do it. Just more work 😩 BUT, like Avraham, Mosheh, and Yahusha, I decided to be obedient. And the fruits of my obedience, I’m still harvesting. I’ve met so so many incredible people, learned (and am learning) how to be a leader (and with that comes understanding the importance of my consecration onto by @kingdomtrendsetters
you never know how much Yah can shift in a year unless you take the chance and trust Him 😩 TRENDSETTERS was never my idea. I didn’t really want to be put in this position. I had full surrendered dance to God and became okay with the idea of never dancing outside of functions and for fun in my bedroom again. But obedience leads you into something you could never have fully understood beforehand And here we are, about to celebrate a year on Nov 1 What began with a “yes” became a space for connection, growth, expression, correction, accountability, and community. But beyond what can be seen in these clips, there has been SO MUCH that Yah has done in me, revealed for me and others, and allowed me to witness through the people He has brought along the way I’m learning that obedience isn’t just about answering the call— It’s about your heart posture as you walk it out. It’s about stewardship, partnering with God, humility, remaining close to the One who called you, and remembering to worship the Anointer, not the anointing. The people, the testimonies, the lessons, the friendships, the moments of joy and of fear, and even the moments I failed tests…I’m grateful for all of it! Absolutely none of this was by my own doing. At all. All glory belongs to the Most High 💙 🔗I look forward to celebrating with you all Oct 30! I meeeean, the best 😍 Our 1 year anniversary event last Friday, TRENDSETTERS: The Reunion, was amazing! It was truly a blessing being able to fellowship, laugh, and talk with those who attended. The joy of Yah was definitely in the room—as you can see 🤣 In the comments, someone you see in the reel 👀 ALSO, tag and share this with a friend who loves dance and God! Make sure to watch the series “Girl, You Thought…”, a reflective diary where @xpaaulettex shares some of the things Abba taught her this past year being in ministry Were back to the regular scheduled program 🙂‍↕️ Join us for our next class NOV 15 at 3PM in Takoma Park, MD. In 2025, I said yes to an assignment from God… If I would’ve known all it would entail, I wouldn’t have agreed to it— I’m joking. Obviously 😂😂 But seriously, I thought I knew what I was saying yes to. I did not at alllll. It literally never occurred to me that while Yah was using me to pour into others, He was also using the journey to grow me “Girl, You Thought” is a series where I share my reflections on the first year in dance ministry @kingdomtrendsetters. Though this is about dance, the lessons learned can apply to any other field and ministry A little vulnerable, a little uncomfortable, but I feel led by the Ruach to share The episodes following this one will be much shorter but will expound upon each lesson I briefed in this video ✨ shalom u’v’rakhah ✨ #testimonytime #mindsetshifts #selfreflect #dancejourney #lifelesson by @kingdomtrendsetters
Proof that being set apart is NOT boring 😆💃🏽 Sometimes we get so caught up in trying to fit a certain mold that we strip away the very gifts, talents, and personality the Most High gave us…But what if we used those very things to GLORIFY Him instead? 👀 You can live according to the Word, be set apart, AND still have fun! 💙 That’s what TRENDSETTERS is about: development through self-discovery and personal growth. Here, you can be yourself, connect, and have FUN without the pressure to fit a mold 🥳 COME HANG WITH US THIS FRIDAY, OCT 30, FOR THE TRENDSETTERS REUNION! Bring a friend and come ready to compete, dance, laugh, and connect! (It’s a very low pressure environment, don’t worry) 🔗 FREE RSVP through the link in bio! #dmvthingstodo #dmvdancers #dancecomedy #faithanddance #kingdomcreatives by @kingdomtrendsetters

Enjoy this dump of our time ministering at Soul in Motion’s 2nd event. Thank you for having us I want to post the set, Covenant Over Culture, but we don’t have that footage but there was another opportunity to perform COC and we have that footage so stay tuned! #danceperformace #danceministry #christianhiphop #kingdomdancers #dmvdancers by @kingdomtrendsetters
Dance should be a space to create, connect, and simply enjoy the moment 💙 When was the last time you danced without feeling like you had anything to prove? Seriously! And we get it. It’s easy to compare yourself to others when you’re dancing for man instead of God The heart behind TRENDSETTERS is to NOT care what others think and to not try to follow the blueprint they’re using. The goal is to let the Most High guide your dancing, whether you’re dancing for fun or it’s His will for it to become more of a career Don’t follow trends of this world—set trends for the KINGDOM. 🔥 Come experience the TRENDSETTERS community at The Reunion this Friday as we celebrate 1 year of saying “yes” to our calling 🎉 FREE & open to everyone—dancers and non dancers. We’re playing all types of games tehe. We love a good kiki Link in bio to RSVP! See you soon! #dancegame #faithbaseddance #danceministry #dmvdancecommunity #dmvdanceclass by @kingdomtrendsetters

don’t get too comfortable with sin…👇🏽 If you’re spending less time with the Father when things are “good,” there’s a problem. He doesn’t just want us close when we need help, when we’re struggling, or when we’re facing the consequences of our choices He doesn’t want to be our second choice or a genie in a bottle. Walk with the Most High ALL the time. Enoch walked with God and was taken up! (Genesis 5:24) If you’ve allowed compromises to build up, feel distant from the Father, or miss the fire you once had for Him—there is GOOD NEWS. 💙 REPENT. RENEW. REALIGN. Because of His Son’s sacrifice, we can be forgiven, cleansed, and reconciled to the Father. Don’t let shame keep you from returning to Him, but don’t mistake His mercy and grace for permission to remain in sin (1 John 3:4)! Whether in abundance or in hardship, may we never be insensitive to the spirit and to what grieves the Most High. May we not become so comfortable with sin that we forget the joy of walking closely and being one with our Creator 🕊️ “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.” — James 4:8 He is there. Waiting for His child to return to Him ✨ 🧠 @xpaaulettex & Yah 🎶 too comfortable @siahthemenace Selah #dmvdancer #faithbaseddance #kingdomcreatives #setapart #repentance by @kingdomtrendsetters
