Some people show up, and some people give everything. Last Saturday, October 10th, for Unpacking the Backpack, our brothers Tana 9.13 and King Klown didn’t just perform or make an appearance—they poured their entire souls into our community. What these two artists brought to the room is something you don’t see every day. They stepped up with an unmatched level of bravery, radical transparency, deep vulnerability, and fierce advocacy for mental health. Opening up like that isn’t easy. It takes an incredible amount of strength. Yet, they traveled back to their hometown to do the heavy lifting—helping pull our youth and families out of trauma and guiding them into a healthy, thriving mental space. They gave more than anyone could have ever imagined, proving what true community love looks like in action. Tana9.13 and King Klown, thank you for honoring our city with your truth, your art, and your hearts. The impact you made last Saturday will ripple forward for generations. 🖤💪🏾 #UnpackingTheBackpack #MentalHealthMatters #CommunityHealing #Tana913 #KingKlown TheBraveEffect YouthEmpowerment Chattanooga 📸 by, David Relano by @kingklown2k

When we shared our goal of bringing “Tana 9.13”and “King Klown” to our community to speak on trauma recovery and mental health advocacy, you stepped up and answered the call. Kevin Tucker James Tucker Thank you for aligning with our objectives and helping us create a safe, impactful space for open dialogue. Hollering back at your son just teaches him to hide things from you. Instead of busting him down like my granddad did, I need my boy comfortable telling me ANYTHING. Parenting to me means making him feel safe to speak his mind so he does not run off. #raisingboys #parentingtalk @kingklown2k #BlackCouchTalk | #702Visions | #District1104 https://youtu.be/CSpVKBACudg?si=rKj3KuqHBBL2KOyu like, share, comment, SUBSCRIBE!!! by @kingklown2k

They made soldiers instead of kings and kept everyone stuck in the hood. Time to stop letting them hypnotize people into that dumb lifestyle. Try to be better every single day and get your mind right. #mindsetshift #realconversations @kingklown2k #BlackCouchTalk | #702Visions | #District1104 https://youtu.be/CSpVKBACudg?si=WNW8GgYmvkNTIgJ2 like, share, comment, SUBSCRIBE!!! by @kingklown2k
Treating music like a drug to get listeners high is such a genius way to look at it far as MUSIC. When he talks about making tracks that hijack your attention no matter your mood, it completely changes how you see that "BOP". If your favorite song is not hitting like that, you are listening to the wrong stuff. #songwriter #hiphopculture @kingklown2k #BlackCouchTalk | #702Visions | #District1104 https://youtu.be/CSpVKBACudg?si=Mb-WFLC9TA8XEumY like, share, comment, SUBSCRIBE!!! by @kingklown2k
