Yesterday, me and our homeschool group got to spread a little happiness and love as we assembled care packages for those in need. What better way to spread Christmas cheer than to reflect the characteristics of Christ this holiday season. A year and a half ago we started this care package ministry and it has been an opportunity to spread joy, kindness and love as we care for others. Thank you to all who has helped towards creating such blessings for those in need. Your continual donation will help us as we continue serving our community throughout the year as we have been doing faithfully. #spreadlove #generosity #bekind #actorlife #selfless #younghollywood #giveback #service by @kingstonazelaya

The benefit of joining a hybrid homeschooling program is that Iโ€™m still homeschooled but enjoy the benefits of a traditional school community. Twice a week I am taught by incredible teachers and still enjoy the community aspect of school and expanding my friendships as well as participating in fun school activities. Itโ€™s unfathomable in todayโ€™s Hollywood that anyone would decline a job offer, yet here we are rejecting a lucrative opportunity. WOW you must be crazy, nope not crazy. We are teaching our son, not all money is good money. Meaning not every opportunity is a good opportunity or exposure. Then why did you audition for the job? Well not every casting at the beginning gives you a FULL picture of what you will be doing. Not until youโ€™re offered the position do they disclose everything and sometimes not until youโ€™re on set that they disclose everything and some times itโ€™s minutes before โ€œACTION.โ€ We chose to decline an offer because it did not align with the direction for our sonโ€™s career. We have written goals down for him and non negotiables that we adhere to, this gives us the ability to pivot and move as we see fit that is BEST for our son. We are teaching him that itโ€™s okay to walk away, itโ€™s okay to stand up for yourself and itโ€™s definitely okay do what aligns with your core beliefs. We are teaching him not to let money or executives pressure him into anything that he is not okay with. So yes he could have made a lot of money, but at what cost? I teach parents the importance of advocacy in this Industy. If you want to LEARN more, comment MORE and Iโ€™ll send you some free tools to help you navigate this industry. #kingstonazelaya #childactors by @kingstonazelaya
I Am Not The Last was inspired by that stage of life defined by quiet goodbyes to people we love: helping children step out into the world while, at the same time, gently helping aging parents retreat from it. I come from a diasporic family shaped by generational movement, so I know how life can take us far from where we began. And as a parent myself, I sometimes wonder whether the pattern will repeat itself. That my kids too may emigrate on their own, as I did, as their grandparents did before me, and their ancestors before them. What kind of world will they inherit when they get there? Will they find familiar community there, echoes of home? These questions found their way into this story about family, displacement and the uncertainty of life beyond our understanding. It comes from that bittersweet space between beginnings and endings, looking back with love and gratitude at the people who brought us into the world, while looking forward into the unknown future with concern and hope. And from recognising that sometimes, loving someone means helping them find their way forward, even when it means letting them go. #iamnotthelast #kingstonazelaya #childactor @mark.tenn by @kingstonazelaya
