✨ Help us keep The Kingston Prize growing. ✨ Since 2005, The Kingston Prize has celebrated the remarkable tradition of Canadian portraiture and the artists who continue to shape it. In 2025, building on the vision and work of our founders, past boards, artists and supporters, the Prize entered a new chapter with renewed energy, an expanded community, and a move to becoming an annual prize. We are incredibly grateful for the enthusiasm and support that have made this next chapter possible. ❤️ The Kingston Prize is a nonprofit organization dedicated to celebrating Canadian portraiture, supporting artists, and bringing exceptional contemporary portraiture to the public. And we’re already looking toward what comes next. 🇨🇦🎨 One of our biggest goals is to develop The Kingston Prize into a travelling exhibition, bringing these remarkable portraits to communities in other parts of Canada and allowing even more people to experience the extraordinary work of Canadian artists. To make that possible, we need your support. 🌱✨ As a nonprofit, The Kingston Prize is made possible solely through the generosity of our donors and supporters. If you believe in what we’re building and would like to help us continue the Prize, and one day take the exhibition to other provinces across Canada, we would be incredibly grateful for your support. Every contribution, at every level, helps us celebrate artists, share their work with wider audiences, and build the future of The Kingston Prize. 📱 To donate, simply point your phone’s camera at the QR code in the photo above and follow the link. (If you’re viewing this post on your phone, you can open it on a computer or use another device to scan the QR code.) Or you can use the link below. Thank you to everyone who has been part of The Kingston Prize story since 2005, and to everyone helping us write its next chapter. ❤️ Together, we can keep Canadian portraiture growing, thriving and reaching new audiences across the country. 🇨🇦🎨✨ #KingstonPrize #CanadianArt #CanadianPortraiture #SupportCanadianArtists #figurativeart by @kingstonprize
