It's been a long time since we have posted anything here but today we must post a tribute to our sweet Marzipan. Yesterday we had to say our goodbyes to her after 9 short years 🌈 her megaesophagus finally caught up to her and she was unable to continue living on this earth with us. It was a very hard decision but one that we truly believe was best for her condition.

Marzi was my first puppy and was certainly a challenge because of her megaesophagus. We had many ups and downs over the past 9 years but now looking back on her life today I realize how normal her life was to her. She had no idea she had a terrible condition and was able to be a goofy, lovable, beautiful dog for many years. I'm so glad she had the strength to endure the hard days and the drive to keep going as long as she did. We are forever grateful she found herself in our lives and she taught us a great deal about responsibility and perseverance. My sweet girl is no longer with me physically but she will always be in my mind and heart. I love you, Marzipan, thanks for the memories. You were the most perfect imperfect pup for our weird little family. Give Bodhi a kiss for us in heaven 🌈 by @kingthrillerkitty

Why is Pyt so floofed today? Because she was attacked by a feisty curtain 😹 by @kingthrillerkitty

Pyt's New Year's resolution: to be more evil ... But in a cute way 😼😹 Happy New Year friends! 🎉🎉 by @kingthrillerkitty

Today is dog's 9th birthday!! 🎉🎉 We are all amazed at how strong this pup has been her whole life. Living with megaesophagus has not been easy but we quickly learned how to manage her disease.

If you would have asked us in the beginning if we thought Marzipan would live to see her 9th birthday we would have said no way! 😭 She has had some really rough days in her past but we are happy and proud to say that she has had waaaay more good days than bad.

Today she is getting spoiled with all the toys and fetch that she can handle (since she's not allowed to have treats). But we will add something special to her dinner tonight 😘

We haven't updated our friends much lately and Mom is sorry for that! She's terrible at social media 😑 but everyone is doing really well here! And we hope you all are doing well too! by @kingthrillerkitty

Pyt is definitely going crazy this Caturday 😼 but she looks cute doing it 😻 by @kingthrillerkitty
