LOVE LIKE JESUS ❤️
I’ve been on a short social media fast these past few days. I chose to fast social media because I’m addicted to my phone and I knew it would be something to hurt my flesh. That’s the importance of picking what to fast from. (The most important one is food-I’ll start that journey soon too.)

I thought it’d be especially hard, but when I felt tempted I thought “Not by my own strength, but by His.”🙏🏽

I’ve been thinking about fasting for awhile now because it’s one of the many ways to grow in the spirit of Jesus. Fasting helped me think a lot about how God has changed my life, me as a person, and the things I want to keep improving on. Especially my relationships, friendships, and future decisions. I was less lazy and less groggy/mentally fatigued. With him my life is meaningful and I have purpose. I am so so blessed because he is always looking out for me. He always knows my heart and knows what I need. If you feel dead or empty inside he will heal you! 💯I am not perfect, I still fall short, but he will always be right with me. He is my strength! I want to give my everything to him. HE IS SO GOOD. ✝️

If you want to start to feel him it starts by just showing up to him. Find a good church, be around Christlike people, SURRENDER THINGS TO HIM! Surrendering things to him is how I first started to really feel him. You know OF him but do you KNOW him? Is he your friend? Is he your first?

The endless scrolling, consuming others lives, comparing ourselves, it’s killing us. Choose yourself, Choose Jesus ❤️. by @kitonnaa
