A Morning at @lacailleutah : The Beauty of Getting Ready Together

There is something so beautiful about getting ready for a wedding at La Caille.

Especially when the world outside is just as breathtaking.

The landscape, the light, the grounds, the timeless architecture it would be easy to spend the entire morning admiring everything outside the windows. But on Christina and Nate’s wedding day, some of the most beautiful moments were happening inside.

There was an energy in the getting ready room that photographs can’t quite fully explain.

Hair being finished. Makeup being perfected. Dresses being steamed. Details being gathered. Friends and family moving around one another, each person quietly playing their part to make sure Christina felt completely cared for before she walked down the aisle.

It wasn’t just about getting ready.

It was everyone coming together for her.

And that is one of the things I love most about wedding mornings. Before the ceremony, before the vows, before the celebration begins, there is this little pocket of time where everyone who loves you is gathered under one roof. There are nerves and laughter, anticipation and happy tears. Someone is always fixing something, someone is always looking for something, and somehow it all comes together.

At La Caille, the setting made those moments feel even more timeless.

There is something sacred about witnessing that transformation.

Not because a bride needs to become someone else, but because for one morning, everyone around her is reminding her just how loved she already is.🥹

Happy 40th to my brother… which is honestly wild considering you started life as a premie at less than 2 pounds.

You came into this world fighting, and I guess you’ve just been practicing ever since… mostly by arguing with me.

We’ve spent the last few decades years giving each other endless crap, competing over absolutely nothing, and somehow turning around and being each others number one support. We have a bond like no other.

As my big brother, you’ve been my best friend my whole life. There isn’t anyone else I’d rather laugh with, call when life gets hard, or make fun of on a daily basis.

I’m so grateful that tiny little fighter made it, because I can’t imagine doing life without you.

Still trying to find the words for a day that somehow felt even more magical than I imagined.

The warm summer air, the vineyard coming to life, golden light filtering through the trees, and every person we love in one place. It felt like stepping into a dream.

I’ll have so many more incredible moments to share but for now I just wanted to say that none of it would have been possible without the incredible team that poured their hearts into every little detail. You made us feel so cared for and gave us the freedom to be completely present with each other, our family, and our friends. We will cherish these memories for the rest of our lives.
