he may not have all the bells and whistles of the newer rigs, but he’s sure as dang heck got character, and a whole lot of stories to tell.
(i sometimes sit and dream about the sweet ones i know people created with him before me)

and if i were to be able to go back in time to when i was shopping for vans?

i’d 10000% choose this old geezer again and again 🤭

what about you? are you team old rig or new?

for those of you interested, here’s how our day went
the bus is still broken down, but we’re keeping our hopes high!

please send good juju, good mechanics, and any thoughts of what you think it could be our way!

it’s so interesting how we can know someone
and still not know whole chapters of their life.

about a month ago, i posted my twin for her birthday and so many of you were like, “wait… you’re a twin??”

and it made me think about how we meet people in versions.

the version healing.
the version traveling.
the version building.
the version breaking.
the version becoming.

and at times,
different hobbies,
different passions,
different friend groups.

no one gets the full archive.
just the chapter you walked into.

so hi.
if you missed the first chunk of me… here’s a little catch up to where i’m at now. i know this is just a glimpse, and we are all ever evolving, but here’s me now 😊
and here’s what built me. by @kittykatmeowmeoww

perhaps you could have mine 🫶🏼 by @kittykatmeowmeoww

It felt like these ones needed a permanent space on the feed after posting them to my stories. I posted them to open up about how I’d been feeling lately and i was met by many who felt the same.
who relate.
who are in the same boat where sometimes we paddle and it’s sunny and sometimes we sit in the rain.
and sometimes it’s sunny and raining at the same time—it’s beautiful and cold and warm all in one.
but we live through it.
we get through it.
sometimes without anyone to bear witness.
and i truly want you to know that you don’t have to.
i see you.

i know the cliche “social media is a highlight reel” feels so….. cliche.
but remind yourself of it because it’s real.
and remind yourself that it’s okay to be real, yourself.
to share, or not to share,
this is only one little slice of our big ‘ole life pie.

it just felt right for me to share a slice of where i’ve been and what’s been on my mind.
and if you’ve been feeling the same?
we’re in this together.

but i hope that you at least have
lots of goods sprinkled in there.
and i hope that your goods get bigger
and louder and better
and take up more and more space
each and every day.

because you are worth feeling all of the goods.
and feeling the rain and storms and hurts
only help you feel the sun and warmth that much more.

so just keep row, row, rowin’ your boats, my dudes.

you are so loved and you always have a spot in mine
if you need it. promise. i’ll even paddle.

and for my next trick, i will wholeheartedly love every bit of myself.
