gotta look around a little by @kj.myers3

It’s amazing to see a passion and purpose come together to make a difference.

On May 30th, we hosted the 2nd Annual Nicky’s Fight: Strike Out Mental Health at Leisure Lanes in honor of my uncle, Nick G. Celia. I’m proud to share that, together, we raised over $10,000 for Mental Health America of Lancaster County.

This event would not have been possible without the support of our attendees, sponsors, in kind donors, volunteers, and community partners. A special thank you to Kim McDevitt and Dr. Mike Diller for sharing their perspectives on the importance of mental health awareness.

I’m grateful for everyone who continues to support this mission and help keep Nick’s legacy alive through awareness, advocacy, and action.

As my uncle and I used to say, quoting Rocky Balboa, “It ain’t about how hard you hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.”

Let’s keep moving forward together.

The 2nd Annual Nicky’s Fight: Strike Out Mental Health is coming up this Saturday, May 30th, at Leisure Lanes.

Kim McDevitt, Dr. Mike Diller, and I came together to share what this event means to my family, to our community, and to the continued effort of spreading awareness, support, and advocacy around mental health.

In partnership with Mental Health America of Lancaster County, this event is all for my Uncle Nick, and I am so appreciative of everyone who has supported this cause so far, including our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and attendees.

Special thank you to Caleb Olsen for putting this video together and helping bring this message to life.

It takes a team. #mentalhealthawareness

April 8th, marks an anniversary in my life and in my family’s life that will always carry deep meaning as we remember my uncle and honor his memory.

It has been a true blessing to serve on the board of Mental Health America of Lancaster County and to be part of work that makes a difference in our community. It reminds me how important it is for people to come together, support one another, and continue bringing awareness to mental health.

I am proud to do this work, and I will continue to do it in honor of my uncle.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support these efforts and the work being done here in our community. Lean on the people in your corner. Take it one day at a time.

Special thank you to Jenny Foster and Mark Yang with @bambooshootsmedia for the video production. by @kj.myers3

Building this community has been one of the greatest blessings. What started as an idea has grown into something real. A network of purpose driven people who support one another and continue to show up.

Thank you to everyone who has supported and believed in this vision this year. Looking forward to what’s next. by @kj.myers3
