What a blast celebrating spooky season with you all last night! The costumes were incredible, the mood was witchy, and the candy runneth over (until we ran out!) Thank you to everyone that came out to share in the moment. Extra special thanks to our baddie intern, Barbie, for bringing the vibes and keeping up with the flow! 🍬♦️🧹 by @kmcw.studio

I’ve been wearing a lot of hats this year, but also set the goal at the beginning of 2026 to make 365 unique mugs. It’s not gonna happen, but I’m thrilled to see this batch of mugs out of the kiln and my 2d work translate to 3d! More to come in 2027. 👀✨ by @kmcw.studio

Rest in peace to our love and kindness queen, Saint Dolly Parton. 💝

Dolly has been a huge role model in my life. She has many snappy and thoughtful quotes, but my favorite is “find out who you are and do it on purpose.”

Back in February, I made a 24”x24” canvas charcoal portrait to honor her perspective and legacy, adorned with gold leafing, an acrylic pink background, and a sequined bead dress for Valentine’s Day. I had a limited edition run of portrait prints made for the pay-what-you-can display @nanugallerywnc, and intended to add a sealed resin layer to the canvas.

Life happened and I never got to the final step. Today feels like the appropriate time to add that permanent, depth-defining, clear layer to finish her portrait.

In response to the news of Dolly’s death today, I will have another run of “St. Dolly” 11x14” prints available, with 10% going back to @imaginationlibrary. They will be available starting tomorrow @nanugallerywnc and @bsideoldfort. DM me if you’d like one shipped.

In a world that sometimes feels full of turmoil and animosity, let us never forget to ask ourselves “What Would Dolly Do?” 💕

A gallery visitor asked if I coordinate my outfits with Maggie’s show @nanugallerywnc… not intentionally, but yes. 😅💛✅ by @kmcw.studio
