POSTS STORIES REELS
A soft reminder šŸ’• by @knee_uhhhhh
Dropped out of college at 20 because I hated school. Gave birth to my son at 22 and two years later decided I wanted to go back to school and do things on my pace. Graduated with my Associates in Medical Administration at 26 and threw myself into the working class landing jobs Iā€™d NEVER thought I was capable of doing. Graduated with my Bachelor of Business Administration in Healthcare Services Administration at 29. The common theme here is TIME. Time is going to pass REGARDLESS. Finishing school was ALWAYS in my story. Being a better woman and mother was something that was ALWAYS going to happen for me. I may have not completed school the traditional way, but whatā€™s for me will ALWAYS be for me. Delayed but never ever denied! To my son, thank you! Karter you have motivated me so much! All the nights staying up doing homework and watching you sleep. My broken promises of taking you to the park but doing school work instead were not in vain! I love you sonshine. You are such a big part of who I am, and I couldnā€™t have done it without you. To my family and friends, thank you all for motivating me and helping me along these years. Reading assignments, babysitting, or hearing me complain for the 108482828th time, I couldnā€™t have done this without you. I love you all and really canā€™t say thank you enough. To the Exceptionally Talented Ladies of the Epsilon Tau Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. THANKYOU. The last 3 months have been incredible and I love you all so much. Your guidance and strength have helped keep me afloat. To my LINE SISTERS, This last semester, I couldnā€™t have done it without you. The pep talks and resources will never be forgotten. I love you all soo soo deeply. @etaudst1965 This is for my ancestors who werenā€™t allowed and couldnā€™t receive a proper education. I am the second generation of people in my ENTIRE BLOODLINE to complete a bachelorā€™s degree. This is for all the mothers out there who think they canā€™t, YOU CAN! I am a living testimony of what God can do. DONā€™T EVER LET ANYONE ON THIS PLANET COUNT YOU OUT. This isnā€™t the end of my journey, but just the beginning.
