The bones of this magnificent Georgian home were already beautiful, and the main foyer gave us the perfect opportunity to build on that strength. Making an entrance here was about creating a space that felt both elegant and inviting, blending our clients’ collection of antiques with carefully chosen new pieces.Our clients’ impressive art collection takes centre stage in this magnificent hallway. A deep, rich plum burgundy tone, Emsworth from our new Prestigious Paint Collection, was introduced to the walls to inject drama and warmth. Each step of the staircase was stained down to a deeper tone for contrast and depth, paired with a new velvet runner. We are delighted to share one of our latest completed projects: the new beauty salons at the beautiful Luttrellstown Castle Estate.Nestled within the estate's stunning rose gardens, these elegant new spaces have been thoughtfully designed to complement the character, heritage, and timeless atmosphere of this remarkable destination.This project holds particular significance for our team. Over the years, we have had the privilege of working across several areas of the estate, including the main castle bedrooms, the Gardener's Cottage, and now these beautiful new salon spaces. Each project has deepened our appreciation for the estate's unique history and charm.To be entrusted with another chapter of Luttrellstown's ongoing story has been both an honour and a pleasure. We’re taking a look back at one of our favourite projects, a beautifully cosy home cinema created for @Lisas_Lust_List ✨️The space was wrapped in Luminous, one of the newest shades from the Arlene McIntyre Paint Collection by Prestige Paints. By embracing colour across the walls, we were able to create a warm, intimate atmosphere that completely envelops the room.Combined with relaxing lighting, rich textures and bespoke detailing, the result is a space designed for downtime.At Arlene McIntyre Design, we believe the most successful interiors are those that make you feel something. Arlene McIntyre Design is delighted to have been appointed to the redesign of key rooms within this exceptional period residence in Co. Armagh ✨Set within beautifully established gardens and rich in original character, this home presents a rare opportunity to thoughtfully reimagine its interior architecture while carefully honouring its heritage.This white box virtual tour allows our clients to clearly envision the proposed spatial direction before fabrics, finishes, and colour palettes are layered into the scheme.Our brief focused on creating a contemporary interior with a subtle nod to classic design, completely reimagining several key rooms within the home while carefully considering how each space flows, functions, and connects seamlessly throughout the property. Alongside the redesign of the kitchen and living spaces, we have also designed a striking new staircase intended to become a defining architectural feature within the home.In parallel, we worked closely alongside the consultant team in planning a new extension off the kitchen, designed to enhance natural flow, functionality, and modern family living while remaining sensitive to the original character of the property.As with all AMD projects, our scope extends far beyond aesthetics. Alongside a considered FF&E specification and tailored lighting strategies, we have developed a full bespoke cabinetry and joinery package, entirely designed by our studio to ensure every element feels cohesive, functional, and architecturally integrated within the home ✨We are delighted to have now delivered our full design package and look forward to sharing the completed transformation in the months ahead.Working in close partnership with our clients and consultant team, we are carefully balancing preservation with progression, creating interiors that respect the past while confidently embracing contemporary living.www.arlenemcintyre.com#interiordesign#interiorarchitecture#arlenemcintyredesign by @arlenemcintyredesign
