🥟 DUMPLINGS ALL DAY 🥟

I take thousands of photos I love that never make it out into the world. These were destined to make it out.

Visiting @kokoheadcafe when in Hawaii is as important to us as dipping our toes in the ocean. Mama Wong created something special - and even when our ships pass in the night you can still feel her aloha in the local folks who call this a neighborhood hang, and the tourists who’ve seen her win it all on TV.

I couldn’t be more grateful to share this place and this energy with my family. Because dumplings are a must, this Cornflake French toast is for toddler royalty, and these delicious memories can be printed on the screen for a while. by @kokoheadcafe

Many mahalos to Chef @leeannewong for traveling all the way from Honolulu to be part of the Malibu Food & Wine Ohana! 🌺 We’re so grateful for your positivity, enthusiasm for jumping into the kitchen, and for bringing a taste of @kokoheadcafe to Malibu 🥟✨ Your Szechuan lamb dumplings were everything we could have dreamed of and more! Mahalo for sharing your culinary talent and aloha with us, Chef! 🤙 by @kokoheadcafe

Our Signature Cornflake French Toast deserves its own post!

Sweet bread gets a crunchy cornflake crust topped with billionaire’s bacon and frosted flakes gelato from our neighbors @viagelatohawaii. Finished off with a creamy black pepper maple 🍁🥣 by @kokoheadcafe
