Brooklyn café & specialty coffee roaster with👌🏻organic coffee & seasonal, from-scratch eats. Open EVERY DAY 8AM-5PM.

POSTS STORIES REELS

Since April 29 is National Poem in Your Pocket Day, I've made you all a little gift: this Kos Kaffe poetry book, filled with poems we’ve posted at the cafe over the years and painted with natural pigments. Please pick one up when you visit—they’re free!

I believe that poetry and cafe culture are drawn from the same well—a place where lives intersect across space and time, with all our commonalities and differences. Thank you for sharing in it all ❤️.

Our Iced Turmeric + Pistachio Milk Latte special has been pretty popular…should we keep it around? ☀️💚 by @koskaffe

Brooklyn Folk Night is more than an open mic—it’s an opportunity for us to come together, share stories and connect with what it feels like to be human.

I am still buzzing from the amount of love and authenticity exchanged between the artists and the audience.

Thank you to the following artists for making last night so special:

@markjammal
@sofia.campoamor
@mskathrynbrooks
@genovievemusic
@8molly88
@skylar_regan
@isabellaparismusic
@ariahand
@kate_tshort

As always thank you to @koskaffe for being the most perfect space to hold this event.

See you next month on Monday November 2nd from 7-9pm!

So excited that @soulpie__ (aka Tara Wiley) will be back at the café today, making more art and poetry for passersby! If you missed her last time, be sure to stop by for a poem made just for you. ✨! 11-2pm. by @koskaffe

Our breakfast salad proving that salad before noon is an excellent idea. Poached egg + bacon + savory granola + pickled veg. Happy Friday!

Brooklyn Folk Night is back @koskaffe one week from today!

This event is becoming more and more special each month. The talent is growing. The audience size is growing. The musician network is growing. All of which is making this massive city feel more like a small town.

If you or someone you know needs to have their music heard and appreciated in a safe and nurturing space, please send them this post and encourage them to submit. To be considered for the lineup, follow the directions in the “How To Play” highlight. Submission window closes on Sunday the 6th at midnight. If you have been selected to perform, you will be notified on Monday the 7th by 12pm to play that night.

Attendees, this event is entirely donation-based so thank you in advance for your support of not just the artists, but the event itself.

🙏🏼
