A little reminder to myself that not everything I love has to feel like work

Building KRAFFITI has given me the opportunity to create for others, explore new ideas, and share crochet with people who are discovering it for the first time.

But somewhere in all of that, I still want to protect the part of crochet that belongs to me. The quiet moments, the creativity, the freedom to make something simply because I feel like it.

Here’s to building a business without losing the hobby that started it all.

Sunday was intimate, cozy and such a lovely time spent with these beautiful angels 💕and I genuinely had so much fun teaching and creating with everyone who joined me.

Turns out, you learn a lot more than crochet 🧶🤍

You learn patience when the stitch refuses to cooperate.
You learn to start over without calling the whole thing a failure.
You learn that getting it wrong is part of getting better.
You learn to slow down, focus on what’s in front of you, and trust your hands a little more each time.

And somewhere between counting stitches, unraveling rows and laughing across the table, you realize those lessons follow you long after you put the hook down.

Maybe that’s the beauty of learning something new, sometimes the hobby is just the beginning

Crochet Socials are coming back. See you around the table soon 😌 by @kraffiti__

Consider this your sign to take the side quest 🧶✨

Pick up a new hobby.
Make something with your hands.
Meet new people.
Be a beginner again.
Spend a Sunday doing something simply because it sounds fun.

Speaking of Sundays… Crochet Socials are making their way back 👀🤍

More soon 😊

A little restock, a little inspiration, and a lot of things waiting to be made. 🧶✨

New materials are in. Now the fun begins.

What do you think I should make first? 👀

Caribbean Excellence.

I feel like now is a good time to re- introduce myself.
That statement I opened with, is a controversial topic but we’ll get back to that….

The easy thing to say is that I’m a stylist. The reality or the truth is
-I support women in seeing themselves greater than the extent of their reflection.
-I encourage them to see themselves greater, bigger, larger than the way they may feel on the inside.
-I dispel self doubt and fear.
-I know what looks good.
-I dress women for their lifestyles.
-I boost confidence.
-I can’t stand mediocrity.
And I can go on……

Women work hard. Caribbean women work harder!!! And don’t you dare give up. Allow me to encourage you to stop dumbing down yourself. Stop self sabotaging your light, Stop waiting on a moment to show up. Live your life glamorously, intentionally, excellently from the Caribbean. ❤️❤️❤️

Part 2 I’ll tell yall how @kraffiti__ and I designed this handmade crochet set! 😉 #excellence by @kraffiti__

Some Sundays are for slowing down.

Ours was spent learning something new, meeting new faces, and creating flowers one stitch at a time. 🧶🤍

Thank you to everyone who joined our last Crochet Social and made the afternoon so special. Seeing everyone leave with something they made themselves was my favorite part.

I can’t wait to do it again.

See you at the next Crochet Social. 🌸 by @kraffiti__

Our first Crochet Social is officially in the books. 🧶✨

What started as a simple idea became an afternoon of learning, conversation, creativity, and a lot of laughter.

Everyone came as beginners, picked up a hook, and left having created something with their own hands.

Thank you to everyone who joined me for the very first one. 🤍

The next Crochet Social is already in the works, and I can’t wait to do it all again.

Interested in joining the next session? Send me a message. ✨

Thank you @zair.myles.martin for these amazing visuals ✨🤍 by @kraffiti__

Soft Form was never about fitting into one shape.

It was about movement.
About softness.
About allowing the body to exist as it is.

A final look behind the collection. 🧶✨ by @kraffiti__
