Reintroducing KRIUS member Frederick Carter!

Frederick Carter is a cellist, currently studying with Christoph Richter at the Royal Academy of Music. Frederick attended Guildhall School of Music’s Junior Department studying with Gillian Thoday where he started to explore his love for chamber music.

He has participated in master classes with cellists such as Michal Kaznowski, Alexander Bailie, and Joely Koos and also has founded various ensembles under the name KRIUS, that he has put together during his time at Royal Academy of Music.

Outside of cello Frederick picked up Bass and enjoys playing with friends and writing music of his own experimenting with a culmination of jazz, folk, and electronic elements.

Frederick plays on an Atelier Sylvestre Maucotel instrument kindly loaned from the Benslow Music Instrument Loan Scheme. by @krius.quartet
