Friday 8th August, we said our final goodbye to the heart of our home, Phil Moyo.

Since 2021, Phil had been a faithful friend and servant in the house of the Lord in Purpose and beyond. To think of the future without Our Moyo is extremely difficult. However, we refuse to let his passing go in vain. We refuse to be just tears and no action.

There’s a revival! There’s a remnant that is rising. Phil was a seed and what springs forth from a seed is always greater. Watch this space, young people are coming to take back what the enemy stole!

In John 9:4 Jesus said “ Whilst it is daytime, we must quickly carry out the tasks assigned to us but the One who sent us. For night is coming, when no one can work.”

Though the sun may have set, we rejoice in the legacy that you built, the joy you had, and gift that you shared. We honour and celebrate you Phil, you have shown us what it is to live a life with purpose💜

I would like to extend my deepest thanks to all the organisations who came together to support the Moyo Family in honouring the life of their beloved son, our dear brother.

This assignment was far too heavy to carry alone, and without the unity and support of @purposeyouthmvmt, @dfmiyouth, @clmi.youth, @shekinahglorymovement, & @pinnacle.ssa & @shot.bynatty it would have been impossible. I was deeply honoured and proud of us as a team. I truly believe that in the midst of our praise, we found healing and a sense of closure. We are more than collaborators , we are Family and I pray that we remain united!🔒

I also want to honour @thewritersroomm 💚, @kanbirmingham ❤️, and @transformedyouthuk 💙 for joining the vision and celebrating Phil in such a powerful and meaningful way.

Though my heart was breaking and had moments of deep disbelief, I ,along with every team involved, gave it everything we had. Planning this momentous occasion has been the greatest honour of my life🧎🏾‍♀️♥️

The Moyo Family have expressed their deepest gratitude to all those who were involved in making the concert a success!

Thank you all for making this a true celebration of life, love, and legacy.

ALL glory, ALL honour, ALL praise, EVERYTHING goes to the The Most High Sovereign Lord✝️

There’s something powerful about seeing yourself reflected in someone else.

I have an English name I could easily use in every space I enter but I choose Kudzai. Not just as a name, but as a statement. A connection to where I come from, a reminder of identity and for the little girl that will, hopefully one day, look at me the way i did @ruthkudzai

Not only am i privileged to share the same name as her but i am strongly reminded that In Shona, our name Kudzai means to “praise,” “honor,” “ Uplift” or “ respect” and that’s what i can attest to when I saw @ruthkudzai.

Thank you for representing. I will work hard to honour and live up to the name Kudzai🫡
