Where are you? Alessio Barchitta Thank you to everyone who came by at BAS - Bergen School of Architecture to visit Where are you?, the exhibition by Alessio Barchitta marking the conclusion of this edition of SWAP, residency program curated by Adiacenze in collaboration with Hordaland Kunstsenter. Thank you also @bergenschoolofarchitecture for hosting the exhibition, enabling us to give form to the artistic research that was carried out in Bergen. The exhibition included an audio track, an archive of voices collected via a questionnaire shared during the residency both with the local community and with contacts and friends from around the world, exploring the themes of home, identity, a sense of belonging and desire; and a video which portrays the artists in a symbolic attempt to build a refuge, a shelter that evokes both security and precariousness, stability and transience, reflecting the contradictions of the contemporary condition. The work was produced and developed by Alessio during the residency together with Adiacenze's curators Amerigo Mariotti and Giorgia Tronconi, also exploring examples of local rural architecture and experimenting with seeds and sprouts as a metaphor for the attempt to put down roots elsewhere. @alessiobarchitta @kunstsenter @giorgiatronconi In partnership with Hordaland Kunstsenter, BAS Bergen School of Architecture by @kunstsenter

Kveldssamling: Kunsten i våre felles rom Med Sofie Hviid Vinther, Sara Kollstrøm Heilevang og Magnhild Øen Nordahl 🗓️Torsdag 29. oktober kl. 18.00 📍Hordaland kunstsenter (kafeen i 1. etg.)
