Long overdue life update here - the last year has been a wild ride of stepping out in obedience to the Lord when it didn’t always make sense to me. Currently though, that’s one of the things about God I just can’t get over; how He orchestrates and orders our steps to line us up to where He wants us to be.

I’m so incredibly honored to have taken on the role of Worship Pastor at Connection Church @come2connect
So blessed to be serving in this area, with this team, and to call Connection Church home to myself, my incredible and always supportive wife, and our new little guy.

I’m learning every day (and hope to remind/tell anyone who read this far in) that the greatest prize in any of this is knowing Christ and being with Him. “For in Him we live and move and have our being.” 🤍 by @kurthartwell

“Help me find a way, lead me back to you.”

These are the words and the song sticking closest as I process the last days of @uvalleyforge , a place that has meant the world to me for the last nearly 10 years of my life. Most of who I am, what I do, and where I am, I contribute to the Lord using Valley Forge to do in my life.

It’s really hard and truly painful to imagine that this place will no longer get the chance to prepare and equip people for their God-given calling like it did for me - and it still doesn’t feel real. This song is reminding me that things change, places come and go, but NOTHING can take the place of Jesus; the true prize, true satisfaction, and only thing we can desire that truly satisfies and I pray it blesses you.

There are countless people I could name who impacted me but @leebilotta and @davidskim77 , I wouldn’t be who I am today without you. Thank you. by @kurthartwell

A month later, and still thinking back to @penndelyouth Convention. 🩵🩵 Students are hungry to meet Jesus and it’s the best thing ever. So grateful for the team that made it all happen, this network and these young people choosing to seek the Lord. 🫶 by @kurthartwell
