hush is yours 🪷 completely self-funded and made alongside my full-time teaching job, this EP came together slowly over the last two years, applying for funding without any success, between responsibilities, self-doubt, and the decision to keep finding my way back to myself and my own voice these six songs carry so much of my heart. thank you to everyone who listened, encouraged me, helped bring the music and visuals to life, or reminded me it was worth continuing. the two newest songs lotus & don’t compromise are here & i hope you‘ll listen and maybe also find a piece of yourself in those songs … swipe for some more context lotus it‘s about finding my way back to myself. pairing it with these home videos feels like a little reminder of who was there before all the second-guessing mix/ master @matt_the_vessel production @muanh.music & @greyyforever drum engineering @jona.raischl drums @kwaku_official_ electric guitar @cologne_offiziell bass @bjoern_bass keys @fabioniehaus words by @atwoodmagazine don‘t compromise the last song on hush. a promise to trust your own voice. still learning though mix/ master @matt_the_vessel production @muanh.music & @prodbyalycce drum engineering additional production @jona.raischl drums @kwaku_official_ electric guitar @cologne_offiziell bass @bjoern_bass keys @fabioniehaus aaaand the official visualizer is out now 💫 cd @andjani.autumn dop @ivarr.jacobsen hmu @portgasdsarahhmua words by @atwoodmagazine the people who helped shape hush 🤍 this EP carries pieces of everyone who touched it: in the production, the visuals, the details you might only notice after a few listens. thank you for meeting these songs with your own ideas and making space for them to become what they are. it takes a village. i’m so grateful for mine. and to everyone who’s been listening: thank you for letting hush live with you. love u by @kwaku_official_

TRY AGAIN (acoustic & aligned) Happy Birthday to me — and happy release day to my amazing team and myself ❤️ I deliberately picked my birthday to release this very special version of “Try Again”, my summer single from 2024. And we deliberately named it acoustic & aligned, because the way we’re doing this now is actually aligned with who we are, our energy, the way we approach music, and how we want our music to impact the people listening. “Try Again” (2024) was administered by a label/management situation that, retrospectively, wasn’t even good on paper — let alone good for my bank account 🙂 — and drained a lot of my energy and motivation before release day had even arrived. I’m not here — especially not today — to talk shit about people I used to work with. But I do think it’s important to acknowledge that parts of this industry can become very unhealthy for the art itself. Their “alignment” was essentially about investing nothing and cashing in on our investments — which obviously didn’t serve the song, or me. So now, after everything I’ve been through, everything I’ve learned and realised, after meeting new people who empowered and inspired me (Sinja @dieeloquentin ), and remembering who MY PEOPLE are (Phillip @kwaku_official_ , Teresa @photobyteresa , Alex @asrcentertainment , Max @milianmastering ) — I am beyond happy and proud to send TRY AGAIN (acoustic & aligned) out into the world. Not only to give you something new and special, but also to pay homage to the original version — which I still love dearly. So: enjoy, stream away, and remember to stay aligned with who you are. Always. Lenny loves you. __________ #LenntTryAgain #AcousticVersion #IndependentArtist #HousePop #BirthdayRelease by @kwaku_official_
