God assigned a purpose over my life long before I could even understand it for myself. Earlier this year, I told God I wanted to be in the most powerful rooms and go to United Nations in New York. But God said, “watch what I can do.” Looking back, the little girl in me would’ve never imagined that one day she’d be at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland giving an intervention. But that’s the beauty of partnering with God, there are places, callings, and heights only He can take you.

There are so many things I’m passionate about, and I’m beyond grateful to @oedd.official for inviting me as a Youth Delegate. Thank you for seeing my work, believing in my voice, and recognizing the change I’m striving to make. Your continued support and love is appreciated and I don’t take this responsibility lightly.

This is bigger than a moment for me it’s the continuation of the work, the responsibility, and the impact I intend to leave on this world. 🤍 by @kxcxco

Incredibly honoured to share that I have been awarded the Lincoln M. Alexander Award as the 2026 recipient. After I received the award I was told that the vote was unanimous 🤍 and there was no doubt that it wasn’t me.

Named after the late Honourable Lincoln M. Alexander, this award recognizes one young person each year dedicated to eliminating racial discrimination. Law is my absolute passion, and my mission has always been to use it as a tool to support, uplift, and advocate for racialized individuals in our community.

Carrying forward the legacy of Canada’s first Black Lieutenant Governor who was himself a trailblazing lawyer is a profound privilege. This recognition only strengthens my commitment to breaking down systemic barriers and fighting for true equity.

Looking back at the path it took to get here, I never could have imagined I’d become the woman I am today. The road hasn’t been easy, and the obstacles along the way were heavy but I am walking boldly in my calling, holding God’s hand trusting His perfect direction.

Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us: “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” — Proverbs 27:17 ✝️

We gathered to share, listen, and grow together in faith and wisdom. There is so much power in a community of women lifting each other up and pushing one another to fulfill our purpose.

Thank you to @sandyanin for bringing us together and hosting.

To say I am overwhelmed with gratitude would be an understatement. Earlier this month, I was honored to receive the Outstanding Mentor Award at the 2026 Impact Gala. ✨

This actually marks my second mentorship award this year, and I am truly humbled. Pouring into others, sharing knowledge, and helping young girls unlock their potential is my absolute passion but to have that work recognized twice in one year is a beautiful reminder that our communities thrive when we invest in each other.

A huge thank you to the Impact Gala organizers, @fbcfcn and to TD – Mississauga District for sponsoring this award and celebrating community leadership. To my mentees, peers, my team at @_youthunlocked_ and everyone who supports this journey: thank you. We keep lifting as we climb!
