POSTS STORIES REELS

A few months ago I saw a reel that I haven’t really stopped thinking about.

It said dogs only get so many summers.

Helios is seven now. If we’re lucky, maybe we get four or five more together. And when you actually say it like that, it doesn’t feel like much time at all.

It made me think about Loki.

I loved that dog more than I could ever explain, but I still wish I had taken him more places. More road trips. More hikes. More random drives. I always thought I’d have more time for that stuff.

Time runs out a lot faster than you think.

I can’t go back and change that with Loki. But I can make sure I don’t make the same mistake with Helios.

So I want to take him places. Let him see new things. Smell new smells. Stick his head out the window and lose his mind over absolutely nothing.

Helios’ world is only as big as I make it.

And I want to make it a big one.

For him.

And for Loki too. 💚

The ride lasts 8 seconds.

The story lasts a bit longer.

A look at PBR Space Cowboys through my lens, from the chute to the crowd to the dirt after the buzzer.
