I think we’re due for a nap now!! by @kyndals_fit

Last month was National Eating Disorder Awareness Month. And I don’t talk about my journey enough on here- and how much my relationship with food and my body has improved. There is nothing cooler than seeing all of the amazing things my body does for me- and that it deserves love and FUEL!!!!!! And a HUGE part of that is due to the change in my training to functional and performance style movements (Crossfit and running) and the mindset shift that comes with that switch.

There are so many things that in fact do taste and feel better than being skinny and I take so much joy in the knowledge that I’m no longer lost in the binge/restrict cycle, hating my body, and feeling like I will never like how I look. 💜 by @kyndals_fit

pilates is so fun but i will always be a crossfit + running girlie 🥵 by @kyndals_fit

marathon #2 in the books!!!!

3 months since my last race and a 23 minute PR!!! I am so proud of the cool things my body does for me. The last mile and a half featured 40+ mph winds and being pelted with rain, hail, and sand, but we pushed through and got it done!! Now time to rest, recover, and get faster 😉 by @kyndals_fit

in 2025, i fell in love with running, got hooked on hyrox, and made so much progress in crossfit (kipping, pull ups, toes to bar, etc.). This isn’t a full list of my goals but these are some of the big ones:

1. GET FASTER!

At this point, I think I have a good foundation for distance running (marathon #2 in just a few weeks), BUT something I have really struggled with is speed. Speed runs are my least favorite and I also just tend to be a slower runner, but my goal this year is to push that a bit and get faster.

2. READ THE ENTIRE BIBLE

Following the bible recap plan this year and planning to be as consistent as possible. I’ve always wanted to read the entire bible and have grown up my entire life in church, but am really excited to learn more and spend more time in the word this year!

3. KEEP ADDING WEIGHT TO PULL UPS

This time last year I couldn’t even do a single unweighted pull up but I’ve slowly build up to being able to do 20, 25, and even 30 (for one struggled rep) on pull ups. These make me feel so strong and capable and I want to continue to build!

4. GET BETTER AT SNATCHES

Specifically squat snatches. This is one of the movements that challenges me the most and as I add weight I find it REALLY hard to keep good form.

5. BE ABLE TO DO ONE MUSCLE UP

The technique on these is so hard for me to grasp but I KNOW I can do one if I just keep working.

6. ANOTHER SOLO HYROX

I think I AM hooked on the solos. It was so much fun getting to really push myself through a solo. and I really want to do another one this year and hopefully get a PR!

7. TWO MORE MARATHONS

I’ve officially caught the running bug. Long distance is my jam and we are doing the Big Beach Marathon at the end of this month and (hopefully) the Marine Corps Marathon in October if everything goes according to plan!

These definitely aren’t all of my goals for the year and I will continue updating them throughout the year, but here’s a little overview :) by @kyndals_fit
