BAFTA 2026 Winners @BBCEastEnders (‘Best Soap’)

Oh, what a night! So much love for our hardworking cast and crew back in Albert Square, and a massive congratulations for bringing the big award home for the second year running.

BUT this one was for our beloved late commissioner, our champion, and our angel, Dani Scott-Haughton (@danidanidanilorum). Love you, miss you, and felt you with us every second last night 🕊️♥️🏆

10 years in Albert Square. A two-week stint turned into decade-long soap opera, and they haven’t gotten rid of me… yet.

Too many special moments and photos to share (from filming a dramatic boat crash on the River Thames, to a Royal visit from King Charles and Camilla, and even a mention from Charli XCX in the papers), but the on-screen (and off-screen drama) has been totally worth it. Oh, I love my @BBCEastEnders family. #EastEnders
