calling out into the void until someone hears me

does the end justify the means? were we put upon this earth to suffer and to sacrifice, or to indulge and exalt ourselves to the highest extent of our humanity? life is superficial, human life itself is feeble and short. i spend so much time thinking on this subject that i’m not sure where to start. where did we begin? where did we end? did we ever begin? will we ever end? the purpose of our existence is unknown, and while we have each individually created our on purposes of existing, none of them could possibly be the “right” answer. we may never understand the reasoning of our existence. there is no rationality in the thoughts of existing because there are too many answers and such little time. sometimes we forget why we are here, we get absorbed in every day life and forget that us being conscious is nothing short of a miracle, or perhaps a simple fluke. the thought of not existing used to terrify me. one day we will die and simply cease to exist.. and then what comes after that? will we ascend into the afterlife, a promised paradise or an eternal hellfire? will we reside in a dark and endless void, forever pondering over the memories of our previous selves? will we reincarnate and forget the life that came before us? these questions are something that right now, while i’m still alive, i will probably never know. so just live. enjoy your life. written by @kytocore by @kytocore
Komorebi (木漏れ日) is a Japanese word meaning “sunlight filtering through the leaves of trees”. While it has no direct translation in the English language, it is a word that can perfectly describe this simple but incredible phenomenon. by @kytocore

after struggling for what seemed like forever i realize it really hasn’t been that long. and it hasn’t really been forever. everyday i wake up & i wonder will i ever reach the end? not in a bad way, but i just wanted to see if it’s worth it, all of this struggling. all the decisions in our lives has led us to this point. and some people are standing at the edge of it all looking at what they’ve done, some have barely started the journey, and some of us have diverted our paths and moved on from what we actually wanted. some of us never moved at all. what if we crossed paths? what would you say to me? what would i say to you? would we just be strangers? or would you be a kind friend? an acquaintance? would we just be walking along together on this path and would we fight to see the end? i’m not sure anymore. i kind of realized i wanted to stick around to see. i hope you do as well. just keep moving forward and don’t look back. maybe stop and look around at what you’ve accomplished and remember the people who stopped to help you. remember life isn’t just about struggling. it’s about the people you’ve loved and lost, the ones you gained throughout your journey on this weird and crooked path called life. written by @kytocore by @kytocore
