Excited to share I have a new limited edition screenprint available, Santa Cristina III (50 x 70 cm) @labobosa_ in Sardinia. The composition of the print is based off a relief work made at my first residency at Labo in 2024. The piece references the rare astronomical alignment at the sacred well Santa Cristina. During the lunistice moonlight shines perfectly vertical and perpendicular through the hole at the top of the tholos dome striking the surface of the sacred water at the bottom of the stairs. The pool acts as a celestial mirror, anchoring humanity in the cadence of nature and the heavens. by @labobosa_

The chosen five.

145 applications from all across Europe, and five spots. It wasn’t an easy choice, but we are beyond happy with it.

In March 2027 they will share our printmaking studio for a month, with one question on the table: what does authenticity mean today, for places and for artists? That’s The Economics of Being Looked At. Five individual marks, one collective edition, with our @enyaidda and @allmarci to mentor them along the way.

📆 March 2027
🇪🇺 Funded by the European Union through @culturemoveseurope, implemented by @goetheinstitut_belgien and supported by @fondazione_bosa

Metamorphosis. Freedom. Crossing.

The Island is a small ongoing series by @bforatori born from her journeys to islands, which coincidentally took place during moments of great change in her life. These were places where she experienced isolation, but also a sense of overflow, where experiences and emotions seemed to take on another dimension. The fluidity of water, introspection, rebirth, and freedom run through the series.

This work belongs to the series inspired also by Bosa and Sardinia, where Bianca stayed in 2024. More from The Island series coming soon at @labobosa_

[Untitled / The Island series / 70 × 60 cm / 2026 - SOLD]

Metamorfose. Liberdade. Travessia.

Some glimpses of the ‘Sea and Mirror’ workshop and of ‘La donna dell’occhio’ printing process at @labobosa_ , Marco’s incredible studio and gallery in front of the Temo River, in Bosa, Sardinia.

Over the course of two weeks, we immersed ourselves in drawing, painting and writing. Surrounded by the Mediterranean seascape, we explored the sea as a source of life and as our mirror. In our sketchbooks, we captured the evocative visual character of Bosa as we sailed along the coastline and wandered through its labyrinthine streets, observing and collecting intriguing details, shapes and colors.

In the days that followed, ‘La donna dell’occhio’ came riding on a horse, carrying the four elements of nature and bringing us good fortune. In collaboration with Labò, we created this silk-screen print, which I am especially fond of because of an unexpected coincidence: I had previously worked on several series of horse drawings, only to discover that the horse holds a particularly important place in Sardinian culture.

Many thanks, Marco, Leila and Mirta, for your generosity. And many thanks to the whole group for your wonderful energy and amazing work.

> Compra l’opera.

> Can you screen print on sheets of wool?

The short answer is yes.

And for the long one, @foodshelterclothing shows us the creative and manual processes of bringing to life a screen print on felted Sardinian wool during her residency at @labobosa_

🐑 by @labobosa_

> How was it?! Colourful, hot, and wholesome.

A little photo dump of last week’s 𝗦𝗲𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗹𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 by @jesus.cisneros.ilustrador

Grateful for the opportunity to host a group of incredible artists who also happen to be some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Thank you all!

Stay tuned - more good things like these are coming soon to Bosa 🦆 by @labobosa_

The residency of @foodshelterclothing was short. But so intense.

Kristina spent 2 weeks collecting raw wool from shepherds (thank you @sinnosformaggi), creating incredible felted wool artworks, meeting & connecting a bunch of beautiful souls from across the island and beyond.

Such a gifted human. We miss you already 🐑 by @labobosa_

Jesús is coming to Bosa.

@jesus.cisneros.ilustrador will be our guest until July 6, and yes, that includes a 6-day illustration workshop* plus some sessions in our studio, where we’ll turn some of his work into screen prints. We are beyond happy to have him with us.

Oh, and last week he won the Premio Nacional de Ilustración 2026, awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Culture. So one extra reason to celebrate!

🤌 Jesús Cisneros is a Spanish artist and illustrator who has published books across Europe and Latin America, taught at universities in Mexico City, and shown work in Korea, France, Mexico and Spain. He has been selected three times for the illustrators’ exhibition at the Bologna Book Fair. One of the good ones, in every sense.
📆 June 18 - July 6

*Jesús’ workshop is sold out, but we hope to have him again in Bosa soon! You can stay up to date with our future activities by subscribing to our newsletter. You know where to find it. by @labobosa_
